Loco Gringo — Restaurant in Wittenberg

Let me start by saying that "Loco Gringo" is only a name. The restaurant's interior resembles South American or Mexican, but when checking the menu, the impression disappears.

In the menu, instead of the decent fifteen meals typical for Mexican cuisine, we can find a selection of about hundred dishes, the vast majority of which is not related to this cuisine. The restaurant could be called whatever, because the offered menu has absolutely no character - there is a mix of everything.

We decided to order Chicken Pan Fajitas for two. Two tiny tortillas per person is really not enough, and buying more cost 1 € / piece. The dish itself is at best only correct, you will not find here any South American spices.

On the very big plus, very nice and quick service.

I recently visited Wittenberg, Germany, to explore its historic landmarks and stumbled upon Loco Gringo, a vibrant restaurant that stole my heart!

The interior was absolutely superb - modern, lively, and inviting. I felt right at home!

The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and ensured my every need was met.

I ordered the Lamm-Kanguru-Pfanne, and it was a culinary delight! The dish was flavorful, expertly prepared, and presented. The portion size was generous, and the quality exceeded my expectations.

Loco Gringo exceeded my expectations! Its unique blend of style, hospitality, and flavorful food makes it a standout in Wittenberg.

Was super disappointed:( water costed 5.80€ and was somehow less of a disappointment than the apperol spritz we ordered and the nachos with jalapeños. The apperol spritz had no apperol and tasted like bubbly water with a dash or orange juice (looked like it too), there was no hint of even any alcohol in the cocktail . The nachos had 2 slices of jalapeños on them and the nachos were smashed to bits on the plate and the nachos were cheese flavored nachos ( tasted like the cheap version of the dorito nacho cheese chips), we couldn’t even force ourselves to get close to finishing the nachos and after just tried to leave as quickly as possible to not get more disappointed .
