Twelve years ago, Hellas wasn’t just a restaurant for me—it was the place. The scene of my first date with my wife, the stomping grounds for countless nights with friends, and always a guarantee for an amazing Greek meal. So when I found myself back in town for a couple of nights, there was no question—I was going back to Hellas. Walking in, it felt like stepping into a warm memory
except somehow even better. The same family still runs the show, and they’ve kept the place in pristine condition—classy, cozy, and as charming as ever. The courtyard is a Mediterranean dream, perfect for sipping wine or people-watching over a plate of saganaki. I dined solo this time (shoutout to business travel), but the flavors kept me great company. Every bite hit like a time machine—familiar, comforting, and ridiculously good. I made sure to snap enough photos to make my wife jealous and promised we’d be back together soon. If you’re ever in town and craving a meal with soul, Hellas is where you want to be. Come for the food, stay for the memories
and maybe a little ouzo. Opa!

Pretty good Greek restaurant. The dining area is pretty limited, so I highly recommend making a reservation, even for lunch. The staff is friendly and can speak English for us foreigners. I got the Athens plate which was pretty good and my wife liked the Special fish platter, though she said she wouldn't order it again. Lunch seems to be divided into 2x 1.5 hour windows: 1130-1300 & 1300-1430, something to keep in mind when making a lunch reservation. Also, I asked for half rice and half fries which they happily accommodated, so that was nice.

Excellent restaurant, very nice Greek ambience, quick and friendly service, very big selection and tasty dishes in good portions. Highly recommended, a must go if you are in the area. Try the fish variety and a dish with meat of course. Also try the Imiglyko (semi-sweet white) wine đŸ‘ŒđŸ»
