Westfalenkrug — Restaurant in Wuppertal

I had the pleasure of staying in this Hotel for 3 weeks on a business trip. The first 2 days my room was on the first floor and to be honest the room was smaller than my bathroom back in states. After the 2 days upon request they moved me to the bigger room on the 2nd floor which had the double twin bed instead of the single twin bed on the first floor..||||Just not enough space to place your foot down if you open the suitcase on the first floor.., Also some of the amenities that we are used to is not there in this place. No Alarm Clock, No Ironing Board, No Hair Dryer..||Also only 1 Big Bath Towel is kept during the daily housekeeping so if you take a shower in the evening it is mostly wet the next day morning.||||Being away from the city center limited the dining and shopping places near the hotel.||||The biggest problem I had is there is no AC like most hotels in Wuppertal, Germany. I was forced to buy a portable fan as it was impossible to get good night sleep in 85 F heat at night.||||On the plus side the staff at the hotel was nice and the restaurant downstairs had good...

Ich komme seit Jahren hier hin essen. Die Karte war immer reichlich und es hat immer geschmeckt. Jetzt war ich dort und es war Pfifferling Zeit. Die bereits sehr kleine Menü Karte hat mich nicht angesprochen, da habe ich Pfifferlinge mit Schweinemedaillons genommen für 22,90 € Ich habe mich sehr gefreut mal wieder frische Pfifferlinge zu essen. Es kam aber alles anders. Ich hatte keinen Salat dabei, den musste ich extra bezahlen, die Schweinemedaillons haben diesen unangenehmem Geschmack gehabt von der Billig Sorte die streng nach Schwein schmeckt. Die Pfifferlinge waren sowas von alt und schlecht zubereitet das ich das eigentlich nicht essen wollte. Alle die dabei waren haben probiert und konnten dies auch nur bestätigen. Das ganze Essen war Furz trocken ! Weil ich eine Gesellschaft dabei hatte und ich denen nicht den Abend versauen wollte habe ich nichts gesagt. Die Kräuterbutter die Dabei war, hat nicht einmal für ein stück fleisch gereicht. Also ich kann keinem empfehlen hier zu essen. Ich hatte an dem Tag Geburtstag und habe mich sein Monaten auf das ausgehen gefreut und war hinterher total sauer das ich den Fraß überhaupt gegessen habe und auch noch Trinkgeld gegeben habe ! Nächstes mal kaufe ich den Quatsch selber und koche mir das lieber selber. Hatte mal 1997 eine Koch Ausbildung und ich weis...
