Mirage Royale Hotel — Hotel in Accra

Stayed here one night as an alternative to by host's home that did not have a generator to deal with the daily power outages in the 90 degree F heat. I found this to be the best of at least four others survey in the area. The staff was friendly and the accomodations basic. At the time I paid 85 Ghanian cedis, approximately $28 USD, cash only, no cedit cards accepted. Breakfast is included, local fare. The property did have a backup generator that allowed the operation of the air conditioning system. On the fip side I found the mattress, being a chuck of dense memory foam material, not very conducive to a comfortable sleep - I ended up sleeping...

This will be my second visit to Oscarpak Royal Hotel.||A nice hotel located at West Legon, with about 14 minutes drive to kotoka International Airport when there is no traffic and 20 to 25 minutes drive on a traffick day. The hotel also offer car rental services with well behave staffs. ||The hotel has a mini board room with about 20 - 25 sitting capacity. The hotel is 'rundown'. The first impression I had about it was the reception. The seat covers are torn,the other seat was tilting because it was spoilt and nothing was done about it. The receptionist was as good as dumb because she couldn't answer any of our questions. Need I say that the hotel is not easy to locate? ||The bed is as hard as zuma rock and all amenities in the room are outdated. breakfast is a measly meal of dry bread, a spoon of baked beans a satchet of milo en tepid water||You can't even get a glass of drinking water at breakfast unless you buy.
