The food, needless to say, is simply sublime. Every dish is a testament to the rich Greek - Kefalonian culinary heritage, prepared with passion and precision. Read moreConstructive feedback Food good! Like really good But So frustrated with this restaurant! the service needs improvement, over the last 2 years we have visited 4 times for dinner and it has been the same.
The tables are not cleared of empty classes or unnecessary glasses to create space on the table we had to put things on the floor. Waiting staff charged around at speed - I understand a busy restaurant needs to be prompt BUT looking in at your waiting tables making eye contact whilst rushing through the restaurant is a must. You can not get anyones attention because of this. Wine not cold, prawns not served with side plate or bowl for shells. So hard to get a drink mid way through or menus, food coming out at different times ( if it’s that or a cold meal I’d rather it) It just felt like hard work. All the while the owner female (looked like Sigourney Weaver ) walked up and down with no smile and not filling the gaps her staff were struggling to. A bit more attentiveness with a dash of engagement could have excused the flaws. But left feeling the same as last time...
Read moreWorst restaurant we visited on the island after a week here. Mediocre food, the steak was burnt, everything nothing special, small portions and overpriced. No free desert in the end (in Greece u usually get a sweet or fruit in the end). Too many waiters that apparently had nothing to do since they were trying to take our plates before we finish our food. Took away our bread before finishing it, wanted to take the salad, then the dish. They were super polite, but it’s frustrating if someone is trying to take away your food. I was too slow to react about the bread but then stopped them with the salad. There wasn’t much left but we wanted to eat it all. Still we felt embarrassed telling them we want to keep it and eat the last things and then the same thing happened with the food. Also they kept interrupting our conversation. I m sure it s the management s fault though. Cos the guys were nice. So change your policy please. Also the food was overpriced for what it was. The view was great though, 2 stars...
