Excellent beachfront taverna with a lovely atmosphere - lots of families with children. The service was friendly and prompt. Our drinks arrived quickly - we're always happy to wait. We had taramasalata, bread and olives to share as a starter. Grilled tuna fish and calamari for a main with a Greek salad that we didn't eat and they boxed up for us to take away. All washed down with a tasty litre of house white and two Aperol Spritz.

At the end of a leisurely time - we were there nearly three hours, I had paid the bill and added a tip €105 but by mistake I had left €125. On leaving the waiter called me back and showed the money I'd left. That's honesty for you ! I didn't get his name but he and all the waiters are a credit to...

I visited this wonderful restaurant at the end of May and was thoroughly impressed! The food was excellent, with large portions that satisfy any gourmand. I ordered the Kefalonian meat pie, which was perfectly seasoned and rich in flavor, while my friend enjoyed the fantastic Moussaka. The restaurant's ambience is great, exuding the charm of a traditional taverna and beautifully decorated. The stunning view of the sea adds to the overall experience. I hope the restaurant maintains the same level of service during the summer season, as it would be a shame for such a lovely place to change. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience authentic and delicious Greek cuisine in a...

A great spot on the beach of Avithos. Had a great club sandwich there with my daughter who had the same. My wife had a ham and cheese toastie which was also nice. However there service was really good - my toddler was playing up a bit but they really looked after her and my wife asked for a kids portion of chicken and rice with some veggies and the server (older gentleman who had an English accent actually lol), was really helpful and got it out to her in no time and said we will charge half. Cooked beautifully and it only cost like €16 for that and a couple of drinks also so very reasonably priced. Worth a quick stop if spending a day at the amazing Sandy...

We popped in for an impromptu luncheon. We had the carbonara for the kids to share and the tuna & swordfish. We started with bread, olives, tzatziki, saganaki, octopus & calamri. Needless to say the food was incredible. The staff sat us quickly and we think we just missed the lunchtime rush as the places filled up whilst we were there. The food was incredible and we enjoyed it. We definitely ordered too much as the portions were generous. If you’re in the area, I’d almost go as far as to say this place is a must visit. Great food. Great views.

You think about going there? Do it. Really nice tavern, close to the sea and beach. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff which can help you find the right dish for you if you can not decide which sounds best. It's such a lovely and cozy place which I would call a treasure. And we had the best Tzatziki there from whole Kefalonia! We highly recommend eating there and will definitely come back at our next vacation. Photo shows the fisherman's dish: Grilled sea bass and scampi as well as fried anchovies and white bait.
