We came for dinner and the table was empty, so we sat down and the waitress started setting the table. On the table there was a closed bottle of wine, and we thought it was probably homemade wine as a promotion. After setting the table, the waitress asked if the bottle was ours, and we said no, it wasn’t. She continued setting the table, and I lifted the bottle to look underneath, where there was a note written in Greek. I only saw the number 21 and said that it must be 21 euros, thinking that was the price, and the waitress said it was our reservation. We said no, we didn’t make any reservation. In the end, it turned out the table was reserved for someone else. None of this would have been a problem if the manager hadn’t arrived like he was in a boxing ring, being aggressive, extremely rude, and disrespectful – if he had a stick, it felt like he would have hit us. He shouted, asking if we couldn’t see the reservation, and I said this is a disgrace for a restaurant, a reservation written in Greek on a little note under a bottle of wine. AVOID THIS PLACE. I don’t know how the food is, but such rudeness and lack of professionalism are reason enough to stay away. He could have simply apologized for the confusion, because if I hadn’t lifted the bottle, even the waitress wouldn’t have known the table...
Read moreMe and my family went there by chance as of first day of Easter 2024 holidays fo dinner. Poor menu, you donf have options. Calamari - frozen and fried. Greek fish gavros - fried. Potatoes - fried, tasted like frozen. The first waiter brings a bottle of water and some awful white bread looked week older, but got charged for that 5.60 euro in the end. The second waiter on the other hand treats you like you are invisible, nearly throws the dishes on the table doesnt say any word, looks totally bored. Brings the calamari without lemon?!? So I need to order separately. But wait - when 3 women sit on the table near us the one cannot stop talking to the most attractive. Flilts with her one hour, neglecting his duties. Overall bad experience. If once it was good restaurant, now it is gone. Worst spent 44 euros in Ierissos. I have no pictures to show. Avoid when in Ierissos. Good thing - near the beach. No...
Read moreI'm looking to eat traditional with local flavor when I travel with my family. I only got frozen food that was boiled or fried. Fried or boiled frozen seafood with pasta. Frozen French Fries. The moussaka that came almost last to the table was hot at the bottom and cold at the top. (I think they sent someone to the Market to buy a frozen one because they were out of stock). Comparatively, it is not a cheap restaurant, but not an expensive one, on the other hand, the portions are small, if they were of good quality, we understand. The one who served us, just didn't throw the plates at us. He slammed them on the table and didn't put them on top of the existing ones, because he had to turn them over and he didn't feel like it. So we had to set the table ourselves. I felt like at the Student Canteen only that I ate worse and the serving staff is already bored. Only one good thing: the...
