Absolutely horrible experience. I will share my experience and I hope this will open your eyes about this place. Right before we even could enter the restaurant, some guy bumped into my wife and that fkr didn’t even apologize. We later found out it was the same bully manager that you will hear about in the story later on. We decided to ignore this and move on. We went to have a dinner with my wife, despite the unbelievably long wait times for the food to come, we were happy. Until the time to pay arrived… we called them, they took our plates and then made us wait for 20 minutes!!! I stood up to remind the server that we are waiting, he apologized and made us wait 10 more minutes.

After wasting 30 minutes waiting for these fkrs, we decided to go downstairs to find someone to complain to. We asked the guy in the front to call a manager so we can complain. Two “managers” came downstairs, one of them was polite and professional and the other one was rude with a threatening tone and stance. I shared my complain in hopes of getting a resolution, as you would expect from an expensive and high end-ish restaurant, and the pathetic manager who had bumped into my wife originally started lying that he was the one to stop us from leaving, when we were the ones that looked for managers to complain to!!!!! We were WAITING for 30 minutes+ to pay, and they had the audacity to blame us when we looked for someone to complain instead of trying to make our experience better! The bully manager actually tried to blame us that we tried leaving without paying and they started surrounding me like they will attack me or something!!!!!!!!! At that point as I felt extremely threatened, we had to CALL THE POLICE on them!!!! At the end they didnt want to compensate us or make our experience better in any way, even though they had messed up SOOOO MUCH, we simply paid the bill and left. Dinner lasted 2 hours, me trying to pay another 1 hour.

They couldn't care less about your experience or making sure that even though they messed up they would make it up somehow. Just purely horrible. They only care to get your money and nothing else. They couldn't care less for your experience. If you have a bad experience and you will need to complain, please be assured that you will go through the same. No one will care to make it right and fix your evening. Just look at the other negative reviews. I wish we would see these reviews before coming here. We also had a good experience until it was completely ruined with how the handled the end of our evening.

If you dont want to end up calling the police and ruin your entire night, please just stay away from this business.

Apparently famous people like coming here too judging from the reviews.. well little do they know that I know a lot of these people and I will make sure to let them know.

I have everything on video too! THANKS GOD I DO! These people are liars, aggressive and just don't care to make it up for their OWN mistakes. it will all be released soon so public knows what to expect from these unprofessional leeches.

0/5 stars - stay...

UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!!!!

I WOULD NOT recommend going here due to an unpleasant experience and unacceptable staff behavior.First, I had made a reservation, but when we arrived, my name was not on the list. I had to show the confirmation from my email, and after the receptionist made a call upstairs, we had to wait for a few minutes before going upstairs ourselves.Secondly, while walking towards the restaurant, a guy named 'Manager Giorgos' accidentally bumped into me without apologizing. Despite this, we decided to give it a chance. We placed our order, and the appetizer was fine. However, the main course (lamb and chicken) was overpriced, and the quality of the food didn't justify the price, in my opinion. It seemed overcooked, and we couldn't finish our meal. We've dined at various restaurants, including fine dining, and had certain expectations for the price.Funny enough a bottle of water was 8€.Thirdly, when we were ready to pay and leave, we asked for the bill and waited for 20 minutes with no response. After asking again, we waited for an additional 10 minutes and received no service. We went downstairs to the staff that talked to us about our reservation and to inquire about filing a complaint due to our unhappy experience and the wasted time. A 'Manager,' Gianni, came down and apologized, but the other 'Manager,' Giorgos, did not apologize and even accused us of attempting to leave without paying. He even commented at some point ironically that “ Ow now you know Greek” Well FYI, yes I know so you can’t b*$+ me. This was perplexing, as we had gone through the trouble of trying to resolve the issue. In the end, we had to call the police due to their aggressive behavior and refusal to cooperate. After an hour of hassle and back-and-forth, they finally brought the POS machine, and we paid as we’ve been asking this whole time.Where will you see a customers having to chase the restaurant to pay?It should have been the other way around. It wasn't worth wasting more time on these individuals.I regret not checking the reviews beforehand. Our visit to this restaurant, intended for a good time, turned out to be highly unpleasant. I won't be returning. Thankfully I have a proof of the...

Unfortunately an overated place in the heart of Athens, that offers multiple dissapointments, that forced us to leave before getting served. The place does reservations only for dinner and not for drinks, as we learned on spot. While it was impossible to get through and noone was answering the phones (the excuse is that they are "very busy with multiple calls"), we decided to visit the place (mistake) and take it from there. Due to the mismanagement and lack of reservations, a looong que was at the entrance, where two polite employees were trying to put things str8. So, no reservation for drinks, led to long ques (for marketing reasons?), creating frustration and stress to the people waiting in the line. Once (after 30 - 45 mins waiting) you get upstairs, the view is not as magnificent as demonstrated on the web-site. 360 view is not possible, the Acropolis was not to be seen and if you do not get a table at the window... you are not able to see much. Result? The place we were asked to sit offered us the same view as being at any other Athenian Terrace. Smoking is allowed (official, the waiter told us so). In Greece, smoking is forbiden, even if some windows are open. Offering the opportunity to smoke is not only illegal, but mainly against the aesthetic of modern customers. We asked if there was a possibility to find a solution... The waiter just dissapeared and didnt get back to us. Overall, the place reminds us old decadance periods, where in an overall decadance environment, glamourous places try to offer an oasis of luxury. Only this luxury fails to impress, leaving us no choice but to leave and try some of the other magnificent places Athens offfers. A pitty, since the place has...

This is a restaurant, cafe and bar located on the top floor of the Apollo tower (24th floor . On the side of the top floor overlooking Ymitos mountain is the restaurant, while on the other side is the cafeteria/bar. On the roof of the building is the swimming pool at the front and the bar/cafe at the back. The restaurant space is very nicely decorated with strong wooden elements, quality furniture and a unique view of all the Municipalities of Athens that are located underneath Ymitos mountain, i.e. from Agia Paraskevi to Elliniko. We visited on a weekday after work and it was only 20% full, which makes us wonder if it will stand the test of time. The prices of the restaurant were particularly high for the quality it offers, as the prices refer to the unique view and the very nice renovation of the space and not the quality of the food. The portions are not small, but the main course options are only seven (7) and the quality is very simple. The prices on cocktails and bottles of wine were very high. The entrance to the building is directly opposite the "Panormou" metro station and it is recommended to go by metro, as parking in this area of Athens is very difficult.

Deos in Athens has the potential to be the best bar-restaurant in the city, with its outstanding view and atmosphere. However, my recent visit left me somewhat unsatisfied. While the place itself is beautiful, some of the staff should recognize that working in a nice environment doesn't make them more important. They should focus on being polite and professional. An uncomfortable moment occurred when the gentleman at the main entrance mistakenly assumed that my mother and I were a couple. This could have been avoided with a bit more discretion. Simply having an aloof attitude doesn’t make one seem important, nor does working in a prestigious place—discretion should be the priority.I’d like to emphasize that not all the staff were this way, but it would be better if they could relax and enjoy their work rather than pretending to be something they’re not. The food showed promise but didn’t quite deliver. The salad lacked flavor, though the rest of our order was decent. In summary, Does has the potential to be excellent, but there are a few areas that could benefit from improvement.

Great restaurant on the 24th floor with an amazing view of the city. I saw it in day time, during the sunset and then at night time. I suggest you go during the sunset, as the colours of the sky brighten up the whole view. The service was great. Before you go in the building there's some guards asking you where you're going, how many people are joining what you're going to get (drinks/food). You take the lift to the top of the building and are welcomed by the friendly staff, who seat you accordingly. I visited on a Tuesday evening, so the service was fast and I didn't need to reserve a table. However, if you're to visit on a Friday or Saturday evening it will be more crowded and I suggest you reserve a table. The prices are quite high for food, as expected, however if you're going for drinks you'll see that they're fine. I don't suggest you go by car, as the parking in the area is ridiculous, however the building is quite literally opposite the metro station of Panormou. You should go, it's worth visiting!
