TGI Fridays™ Αμπελόκηποι — Restaurant in Athens

It's a nice restaurant with the "American" vibe. Its burgers are still one of the best in Athens. Potato Twister is a must to try. Various steaks are ok but you can find similar meat in various places in Athens nowadays. When it first opened those were original. Cocktails are nice also but not that strong. The jack Daniels sauce is still unique through. Many restaurants claim they make one but none is making it like this.

The atmosphere is nice as it is always in Fridays. Air conditioning works ok. Music is a bit loud. For a restaurant.

Visiting Fridays restaurant since 1998 and I have noticed the service is not as it used to be. Quality of food is the same. Quantity has gone down and prices have gone up.

They have lost the uniqueness they had when they first opened. There are many "American" restaurant opened now in Athens and there is more competition.

Thus the four stars. Fifteen years ago Fridays were getting an easy five star rating. Now four stars are ok, and they have to try for it.

To sum up, great restaurant for all ages, for couples, families and group of friends that they like this style of food. But they have to try more now. Things...

The inside looks clean and taken care of. Bathrooms are big with plenty of room and each cabin has its own sink so you get extra privacy. The food is very tasty and reach in flavours. I recommend Friday's. Only thing I didn't like was how the guy waitress and another person treated a homeless woman that lives in the streets around the restaurant. They mocked her and laughed at her when she approached them to worryingly ask if they have seen the local cat (which they did see minutes ago because she was literally sitting on our table and we were petting her). It's sad that this actually happened in front of us and another table of customers although it wouldn't make it any better if they do treat these people the way they did with or without...

We were served primarily by Victoria and at the end, Anastasia, both of whom were very professional, polite, and accommodating. There were some minor miscommunications that resulted in part of our order being delayed but I don't think this is rhe fault of the servers who had our table but rather the system of service since the primary server had to inform a 3rd person before our order went anywhere and at some point our table was being serviced by 4 people.i think tbe primary server should have tbe control of the table so items dont get forgotten or lost between people attending our table.
