Zuzuto Ramen — Restaurant in Athens

I have been a loyal customer, occasionally came there and ordered food online. Also, I’ve always recommended the place to my friends. However, my experience with service there was toxic.

I reserved a table for 2 people, and I was informed that there is a time limit 1.5 hours/per reservation. Ok, I came to the restaurant on time, but my friend got stuck in traffic due to the strikes & was late.

Around 10 min after I sat down at my table, the hostess came to me and said without any intro: “Are you just one person?” I was confused about that question, so I said my friend is late. I ordered a ramen, a beverage. My friend was still delayed, so then I got a desert. Even though I was sitting alone at my table for 1 hour, they brought me a cake with a heart and 2 spoons😂… see the picture. thanks god I was waiting for a friend, not for a date… I imagine if someone would wait for a date that doesn’t show up - that kind of serving could make a person burst into tears 😂

My friend came and I was very mindful about their policy and asked a waiter if we could stay more, since 1,5 hour limit was coming to its end. The waiter said “Yes”. My friend ordered, and the moment she finished eating, the hostess came and without any smile or small talk said: “I will bring you the bill now”. Also, there were free tables around, so it’s wasn’t full packed. It was quite rude, we felt like we were at school.

When i first tried your black garlic ramen and it was one of the best ramen dishes I have ever had. The flavor was rich, savory, and satisfying. However, in subsequent visits, I noticed that the flavor of the black garlic ramen seemed to be getting blander.

As a fan of your restaurant, I would like to provide some feedback in the hope that you can address this issue and maintain the high quality of your dishes. Perhaps you could consider checking the consistency and quality of the ingredients that are being used in the preparation of the black garlic ramen. It's possible that the variation in flavor could be due to the quality of the garlic or other ingredients.

Another suggestion could be to make sure that the preparation of the black garlic ramen is consistent across all servings. Sometimes even the slightest deviation in preparation can cause a significant difference in flavor.

I have been coming to this place for 2 years and more and it never dissapoints. Consistent quality and amazing tastes. We ordered the Mango Fruit Tea, the blackberry and rasperry tea, the Black Garlic ramen, the Classic Shoyu ramen and the Torino Karaage. The Shoyu is a good introduction to ramen as a whole i would say but the Black Garlic is an exceptionally unique taste. Its savoury broth compliments the rest of the ramen extremelly well, especially the boiled eggs, which are soy sauce flavoured and perfectly jammy. The blackberry raspberry tea comes with a tiny teapot, some sugar and a cookie which is nice. The mango fruit tea was delightful and i do reccomend it for a refresher, it even has heart shaped jelly! The star of the show on my revisit of this restaurant is the Torino Karaage. Thick bites of chicken with a mouth watering sauce, i will definitely reccomend this to my peers and the best product offered here.
