Warehouse 35 — Restaurant in Athens

The place is nicely situated in Alexi Pavli & Panormou, hence we decided to try it out.

The service was OK with our waitress being polite. Having said that, I really would hope that when being served the waitress would not hold the glasses from the lip of the glass, as she did.

The provided menus were, outdated (describing beers and food that are not being served), dirty and worn out.

We ordered one small draft beer and a bottled red one. Both of the beers were not cold enough and were pleasant to consume.

Most importantly we ordered chicken nuggets that came with fried potatoes. Literally we could smell and taste the burned oil in the potatoes. I managed to eat one small potato and have one bite from the chicken nuggets. That was it - we could not continue eating the food.

Though we were in a good mood, we decided to leave the place.

Upon paying our order we were asked for the reason we did not touch our food. We explained the reasons for our doing so.

The waitress, handling the payment, insisted that they have recently changed their chef and that the oil is new etc. In order to stop the discussion we replied to her that the food was not to our liking and we left it there.

Last but not least, having made the complaints and having barely touched the food, I would expect to at least omit the food from the bill.

Definitely will not visit the place again, until things...

For a night out with friends this place is perfect. The music indoors is loud and the mood is cheery and fun. Outdoors, there are cozy tables for couples and there's even a garden that can seat cozy groups while offering warmth. The prices are generally okay, not very expensive or cheap, for example a sangria is priced around 5eur. Overall, good ambience for college students, or young...

Pros: Relatively good quality wine, tasty burgers (juicy yet well done meat, lovely caramelized onions, homemade chips), polite and helpful staff, gorgeous outdoor roof seating with candle-lit tables and a DJ (they played modern lounge-y remixes of 80s-90s classics), clean WC.

Cons: a bit pricey.

Overall had a lot of fun and will definitely be going back! The rooftop bar...
