DELOOLOO – Real Street Food — Restaurant in Chios Municipality

This place was amazing. The drinks and the food were incredible. Big portions of food and very flavorful. Even if you dont smoke you must go and try their pikilia plate. The best part was the friendly service and the hookah (shisha, argille). We had the raspberry flavour and it was so good. The waitresses were amazing and the guys in charge of the hookah kept bringing and fixing our coal. The atmosphere was great and lively, perfect for a night out. The only thing I am sad is that I dont live close enough (visiting from Canada) to make this my weekly hangout spot. This is sure to become one of the next hot spots in Chios. Came to have dinner here and was promptly seated. Asked a query about the menu and the waiter disappeared never to return for at least 20 minutes. A large group arrived and the waitress came over and asked that I moved so they could accommodate the large group which of course I did. Yet they never came to respond to my dietary query or to take any food orders. Even after raising my hand, they waved back and continued to serve other customers who arrived much later than me. After 30 minutes waiting without my dietary query answered or any service whatsoever, I left....

The food is good, but overall overpriced, especially considering the low amount of meat served in burgers (two smashed patties, but very thin - I bet not even 180gr -, in a small diameter bun) and chicken nuggets (4 pieces). Small amount of jalapenos the spicy burger, of mushrooms in the truffles one. A lot of fried potatoes... If you are looking for american-style juicy burgers, this place is not for you. Honestly for the same price we paid, we could have had a full cooked dinner in a local taverna, in a cozier atmosphere, not just...
