Normally, I never ever go to places with bad reviews on google. However, the places with good reviews were closed(probably because they are popular enough that they can afford to be closed) and we had to improvise. First of all, this was my mom's choice and not mine. She was veeeeeeeeeery hungry at the time and wanted to just go anywhere and eat anything. Her excessive hunger aside, this was the second worst food experience I had in all the 2 months of time I spent in Greece. (But the worst one gets 2 stars because they made some efforts at least) PLEASE NOTE that normally, I only give 5 star reviews to all the restaurants in Greece. So that means this (and one other) place was really that bad! Environment itself is good(decorations and heaters), but the toilets were in dire need of cleaning. I don't trust places that looks nice on the outsidw with dirty toilets. Dirty toilets mean dirty kitchen. Pumpkin soup has no taste of pumpkin. Maybe they use squash and call it pumpkin. But even apart from its 0 taste of pumpkin, the soup itself was not good. While everything else is European cuisine, the mushrooms were done in very strong Asian seasoning. It was such a random thing to do and did not compliment the rest of the menu. It just overpowered everything else and not only that, the seasoning was so strong that you could barely taste the actual mushrooms. And this is coming from an Asian person who likes Asian flavors! We ordered 3 different main dishes and two of them came with limp and soggy potatoes. Unlike the mushrooms the meats came with very little seasoning. Too little. Tasted like nothing after the mushrooms. I'm used to eating rich osso buccos with perfectly done safron risotto. So then imagine the shock of receiving tasteless low quality meat with soggy potatoes. I could go on and on but I'm going to end this here. Guys, just don't go here. Again, it's so unusual for me to give bad ratings to Greek restaurants but this...

At the beginning the waiter was very rude and careless, but we decide to stay and give it a chance.
The cold sparkling water we ordered came hot and with ice aside.
I ordered Lamb with lemon sauce and my fiancé mussels. The lamb tasted more like sheep and the mussels were disgusting, burnt, tiny and old.
Luckly the amount of food they serve is very poor.
We complained with the waiter that, careless, didn't say sorry or anything and made us pay the full price (which was very expensive).
Worst greek restaurant experience of the journey
Fa schifo al cazzo, cozze bruciate, pecora spacciata per agnello e affogata in un mix di aglio e limone per soffocarne il sapore. Personale scortese. Prezzi cari.

Read moreBe careful with this place, especially if you’re a tourist, because it’s likely you’ll be overcharged. The food not the best we had in Arachova, but average. Service was OK but it wasn’t the most comfortable spot right next to the road. They didn’t bring an itemised bill with the meal - something which all Greek restaurants are supposed to do. We totalled up what we ordered based on the menu prices and calculated it to be €26-€28. When we came to pay, we were charged €38. We knew we’d been deliberately overcharged but were tired and ready to leave, so we paid and went. We live in Greece so we know these tricks, but I don’t want unsuspecting tourists being ripped off when they choose this restaurant in good faith. There are better...
