We visited this restaurant and tried several dishes. The shrimps in tomato sauce with feta were disappointing, as they were not peeled and also very overcooked. We also had a beef steak, but it was very thin, and about half of it was just cartilage, fat, and bone. On the positive side, both the shrimp sauce and the steak were well seasoned. The pasta Napoli, on the other hand, was very good.
As for the service, we ordered mayonnaise to go with the fries that came with the steak, but it only arrived about 10 minutes later – when we had already finished the fries. In addition, the waiter got the drinks order wrong. All of this was surprising, since we were the only guests in the restaurant at the time. We were with a tour group, but opted not to eat lunch with them and decided to walk around town instead. Ladokolla has such an inviting atmosphere, so we decided to stop in. The owner, Αρθούρ // Arthur, used to be in a folk band. His instruments are all around the restaurant, along with a wonderful set of photos from when their band was on tour. He was very kind! Both he and his daughter-in-law, Γεωργία // Georgia, were like family.
