We went to this restaurant twice, as a couple of locals rated it highly. We had pasta the first night, which is just pasta with a basic tomato sauce with it. A bit boring. The cheese helped it. We gave it another chance for this restaurant to redeem itself, as we felt like we probably just ordered a basic meal that didn’t suit us. The service was great on this night and the staff were lovely The 2nd night we ordered the tsatiki and that was alright, as were the fried zucchini. The fried cheese was nice though. Then came the overcooked, rubbery whole, grilled squid. Luckily we were full before it came out, because I chopped upmost of it to feed to the cats, on our walk home. They loved it. It was expensive cat food! The worse part was the service. It was some old, cranky, rude man, from start to finish. He even tried to add bread to our bill when we didn’t ask for it or didn’t eat it. When this was pointed out, there was no apology, but it was like we inconvenienced him because he had to add up the bill again. Our food was too expensive for some...
Read moreI had such a great time at this cozy little tavern in Drama! The young guy serving, Alex, was an absolute gem - so kind and chatty. When I mentioned I'm from Bulgaria, he shared that he'd visited some places in my country and even apologized for not speaking the language, which was super sweet. The food? Oh, wow! The portions were massive - I could barely finish. The Greek salad was humongous, the tzatziki was thick and perfect, and the sea bream fish was just amazing. Don't let the modest look fool you - this place is a hidden gem. I strongly recommend it for the warm vibes, huge portions, and...
Read moreVery good food, especially the meat, very nice location, very polite staff. We ordered soutzoukakia and snitzel, they were very tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the taste of the olive oil in my daughter's salad but it might just be me. It was also pretty busy but it's expected on a Saturday afternoon in August. They brought us sweets as a treat (a very nice custom in northern Greece taverns which I always appreciate) and it was very generous. Here's a photo of the dessert, the rest were devoured too quickly to...
