The views from Thalassa was amazing and initially what we were going for, a nice sunset dinner!

Drinks and wine were very nice and so was the fish roe dip with bread we ordered as an appetiser. But dinner was mediocre.

The road up was quite bad and I really recommend taking a taxi, ours was unable to take us the last 150m because of the conditions so this needs to be considered since it’s an uphill walk, didn’t matter for us though! We were a bit bothered by the cars arriving during our dinner because of the parking being so close to the seating area and the condition of the road making it noisier than usual. We were also a bit unlucky and had quite a few tables with people speaking on the phone during dinner which is really an atmosphere killer but we’ve also noticed that it seems quite common in Greece, even at nicer restaurants.

There was no water in the toilet area either for flushing or washing your hands. We told staff that didn’t seem surprised or too concerned and didn’t offer alternative place to wash hands.

I would go back for sunset drinks and maybe an appetiser or dessert but...

The view is exceptional, but the service quality is well below expectations. There is no greeting service upon arrival. If a waiter or bartender happens to notice you inside, they may assist you — otherwise, you’re on your own.i There’s no dress code for the staff; they wear jeans and casual t-shirts. The team is understaffed and lacks professionalism.

Despite making a reservation a day in advance, we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant on a tavern-style stool with no armrests. They insisted we sit there, but after persistent objections, they eventually provided proper chairs that matched the ambiance and were used by other guests.

The staff struggled to offer any solutions and had very limited foreign language skills. While the plates are presented with care, the food itself was bland and tasteless. The tomatoes were not fresh and had clearly been left out in the heat.

The dishes and cutlery used for serving were mismatched and did not go well together. Prices are roughly 20% higher than the...

Thalassas in Sivota is truly one of a kind. From the moment you arrive, you feel the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding fresh, full of flavor and without a doubt the best you can find in Sivota. Every dish we tried was cooked perfectly and it’s clear that the chef puts a lot of passion into the kitchen. The service was excellent as well attentive, friendly and always with a smile, which made the whole experience even better.

What makes Thalassas even more special is the location. The view over the sea is simply breathtaking and watching the sunset here is an unforgettable experience. The setting is calm and peaceful, creating the perfect place to enjoy dinner and relax. Honestly, there is no other place in Sivota quite like this, the combination of amazing food, warm service, and the unique atmosphere makes it...

The service is top class, although we didn't have reservation, the friendly staff found us a table that has been reserved from 9 pm onward ( we arived at 7:15pm). I suggest to reserve and aim for 8 pm so you can see the breathtaking sunset just over blue lagoon its amazing. Parking is available a bit scarse cuz the place is remote, but if you have reservation and arive a bit early the parking is guaranteed. My overal mark is 4, only because the food is a bit overpriced, the quility is amazing , but for price performance it comes to fine dining restaurant with an amaizng view and far avay from taverna. Moreover, unlike all greek tavernas and. restoraunts, they don't include welcoming drink/entire food, and also no desert after we got the bill , which takes away a bit from the traditional greek hospitality.
