5 stars for the place: the beach and the bar. 2 stars for the staff.

You could experience a real paradox here: on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area you could have a really unpleasant experience because of the beach bar staff. We arrived at 10.00 am on the beach. Everything was a mess. Almost every sun lounger had lots of rubbish around it. We chose one set, with rubbish under the table and under the beds of course. I went up to a staff lady to ask if the beach was open. Nice lady, surrounded by a bunch of other colleagues getting ready to start the day She told me that the bar wasn't open yet, so I'd better not sit on a sun lounger because when she had the reservation list at 10.30, she might get me up. After I made her understand that I had chosen a lounger sitting in the "no reservation" area, we simply started having the real conversation on the real topic:the litter. She explains to me that a party had been held here the day before. Okay, I can understand, I used to go to parties like that. No reaction to the garbage. When I asked her when they would collect it, she said they would open the bar at 10.30, which means someone would come to the beach at that time to pick it up. I felt like I was losing my temper, but kindly explained that I wasn't going to sit with that rubbish under my nose for the next half hour. Eventually, we were able to come to an agreement: someone from the staff would come in the next few minutes to pick up the trash. It happened. An hour later, around 11.00am, I went to the bar to get a coffee. Sitting for more than 10 minutes at the high tables, no waitress came to take my order. After calling one of them, the girl approached and told me straight out that tables would be reserved for lunch starting at 12:30. I pointed to the clock which showed it was only 11.00 and asked if I may order a coffee at that hour. She smiled and brought me my coffee. Within 15 minutes, all the tables (I mean ALL of them) were full with people ordering from the bar.

It's such a shame that working in such a nice place you can ruin someone’s day beeing so unconcerned about the needs of your customers. In fact, I don’t think it’s their fault as employees. I really believe is the management creating this kind of environment and investing so little in staff training. Such a pitty…it’s such a nice...

Been to this beach 3-4 times in the past 2 years.

The beach is very good, very nice water. But the management and staff are not very nice. Especially when it comes to booking and managing when they are at capacity.

We wanted to book our spot in advance, so we gave a call. They said we don't do any bookings in advance and it's first come first serve and they suggested to come early as good spots get taken quickly. So we arrive the next day, before we go down the road to the beach, we are asked if we have a reservation, we did the explanation. He said to go down and check. We went to the beach and saw many empty places to our liking but they were reserved, and they take reservations only by being there in person and not over a call. And we were given the worst spot next to parking at their mercy and with attitude. So we decided to move on to another. Maybe I will go back again, or probably not. But they can do better...

It feels like it's totally privatised by the bar. You arrive, there's regulated parking, you're told where to park. Typically under some trees, unless you're VIP and you go to an extra-designed parking space. The sun-beds cover the whole beach, you can't really choose, you'll take what they give you. I can't be 100% sure, but you're also paying for the sun-beds. On the plus, it's an ok beach (not great). We tried the food of the cafe, which had some european/italian influences (tomato/burrata for example). Taste good, prices were ok, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Luckily (?!), it rained for 30' or so and the VIP people left (sugar melting alert), making the whole beach available for ourselves :-) I'm an advocate, that nature should be held as untouched as possible, hence can't give more than 3 stars, to an originally (years ago) 4...

The beach is crystal clear, very friendly atmosphere and the service is very quick and polite. Cocktails are a must try, and the food is very good as well. Parking space is free and has a lot of shadow to keep the car cool and the beach bar is next to the sea. The prices are more in the expensive side but affordable. Really enjoyable experience.
