Last night, I had what I can confidently call the best meal of my entire life. The combination of flavours, textures, and presentation made it unforgettable, starting with the main course of Soutzoukakia and ending with a decadent red velvet cheesecake.

The Soutzoukakia arrived first, steaming hot and bursting with rich aroma. The meatballs themselves were perfectly seasoned — tender, juicy, and full of flavour without being overpowering. The balance of spices was spot on: you could taste the warmth of cumin and the subtle earthiness of garlic blending seamlessly with the savoury meat. What elevated the dish even further was the sauce. A velvety tomato base simmered to perfection, it was slightly tangy yet mellowed with just the right hint of sweetness. Every spoonful of sauce clung to the meatballs beautifully, making each bite feel like pure comfort. The dish was hearty but not heavy, the kind of food that feels like it’s been cooked with patience and love.

Then came the dessert, and honestly, it took the whole meal to another level. The red velvet cheesecake was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. The base was buttery and crisp, giving just enough crunch to contrast with the creaminess above. The cheesecake layer was luxuriously smooth, light yet indulgent, with the iconic cocoa notes of red velvet running through it. What impressed me most was how well the flavours balanced: it wasn’t overly sweet, but instead had this velvety richness that lingered with every bite. The vibrant red colour against the pale cheesecake swirl was not only visually stunning but made the experience feel almost celebratory.

The first course satisfied my craving for comfort food, and the dessert was the perfect indulgence to close the evening. My entire holiday in Greece was filled with amazing food for cheaper and I came here and had high hopes as it had an amazing atmosphere and good art but the service was atrocious the server kept ignoring us and when they eventually came to us they took 1 hr to make the food after numerous question of how long will it take and asking for a server to bring a drink they said 10 mins and the food never came they kept stalling for the food when it finally arrived the food looked decent but when I bit into the burger it was freezing cold and tasted horrible I love Greece and I love Greek food but please understand McDonald’s would offer you better food AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND GO ELSEWHERE the Greek gyros all around the place are amazing but this restaurant is horrible the servers are liars and did not meet any expectations the manager was extremely dismissive and replied with “I get complaints all the time what do you want me to do” he did eventually understand our concerns after talking for 5 mins he decided to remove the chicken burger that I refused to eat and took it back to the kitchen (I had one bite)but will never come here again it was the worst restaurant in my entire holiday...

We spotted this restaurant on Instagram and decided to give it a try – and wow, what a spot! The staff welcomed us super warmly and showed us to our reserved table. After that… things got a bit slow. Drinks took forever to arrive, which felt a little too laid-back even for vacation mode.

Our meat came with a mini fire show. My son loved it and had a blast making an Instagram story, but honestly, the flames left a slight taste of fuel on the meat. My tip: skip the fire show for yourself and just enjoy the meat — you can still watch and film the show when other guests order it 😉.

The meat was tender and high-quality, though the sides were on the smaller side. The staff were always friendly, just painfully slow. For example, my wife’s glass of wine only arrived with dessert, even though we ordered it before the main course and reminded them a couple of times.
