Sifis Taverna — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

I ordered some of the home cooked dishes to take away (pastitsio, lamb with potatoes and meatballs). They were very expensive in my view, small portions relatively to the price and did not taste good. The meatballs were the best of the three, but the lamb and potatoes were very dry and the pastitsio flat and not great at all. I can’t comment on service as we took the food as take away.

We will not return, this is the second disappointment from Sifis as we also tried to come another day and it was closed, despite having the hours as open on Google; I amended the opening hours myself as apparently it’s closed...

The food that we ordered was very good. I ordered moussaka and it was delicious. The grilled vegetables were fine. If you order lemonade be careful, because that means fanta lemon actually. We reserved table for 6, but they did not have prepared such. There was no order when they started bringing the food. My main dish came before the starter. When i saw traditional food in the description here, I had expected more traditional stuff. I would not say that coq au vin is greek dish. If you do not have...

During the day it's great to eat here but when the evening comes... It was so crowded that we had to wait for a very long time for the menu. Then, we were waiting 45minutes for one pizza. The waiter brought me bear instead of water :-) When I asked about the food I realised that they forgot about us :-( So we waited another 20 minutes for the pizza. It was very good but still long time waiting...
