Kalamitsa beach Kavala — Restaurant in Kavala Municipality

The beach is small but cleane. It's not crowded, they are a few locals. If you want to eat on the beach is taverna Metpo with good food and nice view. The locations has good position. unfortunately the conditions are not exactly good because there are not enough showers and there is a dilapidated building where you can change but without doors. we stayed at the Kavala Lux apartments. the property is on Booking. I paid 70 euros for a 2 bedroom apartment with a bathroom and kitchen. it was clean. the view outside the building was great with lots of houses climbing up the mountain.near the apartment there is a beautiful orthodox church. in the morning I bought coffee/frappe and some Greek cookies and pies from near the accommodation. Plaja la 3 km de centrul localitatii Kavala, mare cam 500 m, este publica, acces gratuit, exista un singur grup de șezlonguri foarte înghesuite langa taverna, celălalt grup de sezlonguri aparține de Hotel Lucy, in schimb sunt disponibile scaune de plastic puse la dispozitie gratuit de către primărie, dusuri cu apa, vestiare, toaleta la taverna care are și șezlonguri. Poți veni cu orice,nu te întreabă nimeni, nici dacă vii cu lada frigorifica sau bidonul de vin😀, aviz amatorilor. Parcare publică gratuită peste drum de plaja. Plaja este curata, are salvamar care chiar își face treabă, apa curata și foarte mulți pești, dacă ești pasionat de snokering, am văzut dimineață chiar un delfin...
