🍷 Authentic Greek Cuisine at Ta Pigadia – A Must-Try in Lefkada

We had dinner at Ta Pigadia twice during our stay, and both evenings were absolutely fantastic. Chef Andrea is a true talent—his passion for traditional Greek cooking is evident in every dish. The waitstaff were equally wonderful: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

The wine was excellent, and the food was some of the most authentic Greek cuisine we’ve had—hard to find this level of tradition and flavor elsewhere. One of the highlights was the wild boar, perfectly cooked and full of rich, bold flavor. A real standout.

For dessert, we tried the baklava and the portokalopita, a syrup-soaked orange cake that was incredibly fragrant and delicious. Both were the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal.

He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Delicious Greek food! We went 2 times to the Taverna, the first time we had the tzatziki, lamb chops and rabbit stifado. The second time we had the courgette balls with tzatziki, the chicken souvlaki and fried squid. I would recommend them all! Everything was delicious, always perfectly cooked and tasted super fresh! The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was very nice and relaxed like a family restaurant. The interior and garden terrace were nicely decorated.
