Andreas Grill House — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

So, my family and i were passing through the town and we saw many restaurants, we wanted to eat gyros so we picked this place because it was the only one nearby which had it, first red flag was the fact that it had 3 tables on a busy tourist night while the restaurant next to the mentioned one were packed. So we sat in the restaurant and the lights went out , so we thought it was not a big deal even though for some people it would be a deal breaker. The waiter was young and friendly and he kindly apologized and gave us the menu. We ordered 4 gyros with Pork, it’s important for the story. So after 15 minutes of waiting the food came , and it looked okay. So we started to eat, everything was okay until my family started to make confused and disappointed faces. Our experience was horrible the first evening we waited for 30 min for the menu which didn't come at all so we had to find another place although the restaurant was relatively empty and people who sat after us got served almost immediately. So I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately we still waited 30 min for the menu. The food arrived after about an hour despite that there were exactly 5 people in the restaurant. Our order was delayed and came one thing at a time. On top of that people who sat 30 min after us got everything they ordered almost immediately while I had to remind the servers every 20 min about the different food we ordered as they seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that they served about 4 different tables which sat down after us with the same food we ordered while we were still waiting for our apetizer, which came last. 10/10 would not go back there. A nice restaurant with a nice view over the bay and out onto the sea. The waiter/owner was very friendly and offert us a free Metaxa for an inconvenience regarding our reservation which was quickly sorted. The Appetizers where tasty and we can especially recommend the freshly made zucchini balls and the grilled feta cheese. For main we had the gyros plate which came with freshly made, warm pita bread and was overall very nicely grilled and seasoned. We did not experience any of the negative remarks that were made on this platform towards that dish. After we finished they brought us some free watermelon for dessert.
