From start to finish Club Vass in Vasiliki delivers a truly outstanding holiday experience that blends professionalism, warmth, and flexibility in a way that is rare to find; right from the booking stage, co-owner Tony stood out with lightning-fast responses to questions, clear information, and a remarkable willingness to accommodate changes to our plans due to a family illness, which immediately gave us confidence that we were in the hands of a team who genuinely care about their guests; on arrival, the attention to detail in organisation was obvious, with Ollie the manager doing an exceptional job of keeping the whole operation running smoothly, coordinating staff with quiet efficiency, and making sure every guest felt supported and included; safety is clearly a top priority here, and it was reassuring to see the constant vigilance of the safety team on the water, keeping a watchful eye on every windsurfer, from beginners to advanced sailors, ensuring help was instantly on hand if needed, which gave both adults and children the confidence to push themselves while feeling completely secure; Rufus, Caitlin and Lara were phenomenal with the Kids Club, not only teaching my son the skills to windsurf but also sparking genuine enthusiasm for the sport, mixing learning with fun through trips to the waterpark, games, and, of course, the all-important ice creams, creating memories that will last a lifetime; my own instructor, Oscar, despite being newly qualified, demonstrated a rare talent for teaching, explaining the theory of wind and sail control with clarity and patience, making complex ideas easy to understand and putting them into practice on the water; the hotel itself is an excellent base, with spacious, comfortable rooms that are cleaned daily, fresh towels, and plenty of space to relax after a full day of activity; the location takes advantage of Vasiliki’s unique wind pattern, offering calm morning breezes ideal for beginners and stronger afternoon winds for more experienced sailors, ensuring there is always something to suit your skill level; while the main focus is windsurfing, the atmosphere is flexible, allowing guests to shape their holiday to match their pace and interests; a couple of small enhancements could make things even better, such as offering kayaks or small dinghies for the occasional no-wind days and placing water dispensers around the site to help guests stay hydrated in the heat; special thanks also to the amazing videographer Will, who captured the week’s activities in stunning detail, producing footage that perfectly bottled the energy, fun, and magic of the experience so we can relive it again and again; overall, Club Vass is not just a place to learn or improve windsurfing but a complete holiday experience built on professionalism, friendliness, safety, and a genuine passion for the sport and their guests. We will be back next year without question, and while it’s impossible to thank everyone by name, every member of the team contributed to making this trip...
Read moreWe rocked up in Vassiliki wanting to rent some windsurf kit. We had rented our own villa in Vassiliki and arrived at Club Vass on day 1. The Team at CV couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. I dealt with Sarah and B in the office who arranged a weeks rental for me and lessons and rentals for my kids. Literally nothing seemed too much effort for the team. Great value too. We are at the restaurant daily - good value and tasty food always on offer for breakfast and lunch, from the helpful bar and kitchen staff. A special shout-out to Tommy on the beach who helped and advised me of kit throughout the week(I haven’t been out windsurfing for well over 20 years), and to Tom in the beach hut who worked flat out allocating boards etc, on their proven system to ensure all clients are accounted for. All of the beach staff were excellent- again nothing was too much trouble- always offering advise and helping with kit up and down the beach. Thanks Team Club Vass you really made our holiday and we are coming...
Read moreHaving failed to join any beginners classes due to difficult winds during the previous days, I decided to just go with the windsurf hire for a few hours. Very easy - and the office and beach team were as friendly as you'd ever want. Would recommend this club for anyone interested in windsurfing - losts of staff and kit available (but go pre-1pm for lighter winds as the wind did seem to get strong during the later part of the day - ideal to show off high speed windsurfing from the more skilled surfers).
Beach sunbeds and parasols were available if you wanted to just watch from the beach.
The location is also great - as the beach is shallow for quite a distance (allowing novices like myself to easily climb back on the board once balance is lost). And if you need it - the staff are watching and ready to jump into the rescue boats to come and pull you back if you get too far...
