Areia Club Restaurant — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

We have visited Lefkada several times and especially enjoy the region around Agios Nikitas. Areia Club is situated in the centre of the delightful sand/pebble beach at Kathisma. It was extensively refurbished in 2022. Very cool bar/pool area with talented mixologist (wonderful Areia Spritz) and friendly staff. The beach area is well managed with good quality beds and staff. Our beach-waiter was Harris (or 'Haralabos' = from an older Greek name meaning "shining light of joy ... which Harris was!) ... he was always attentive whilst still maintaining a cool laid-back friendliness. My wife and I liked him a lot. The beach food menu was fabulous ... really .... and very good prices. I recommend the Powerball salad. Alfa beer on draught is nice ... and the extensive wine list starts at 19/20 Euro for bottles of delightful local wines. Well done Areia and especially thanks to Harris. We will be back to visit...

Nice beach, but big waves. So no swimming comfortably possible. But very nice views.

Areia experience (I hope the owner reads this and would like to take first hand input from customers seriously to improve)/ different seatings possible high prices for poor service service staff ignores one and speaks behind ones back in negative way 5 staff members were standing around and discussing who would go to bar to get things for the ordering customer. Hence, no one was eager to go up and thus very very long waiting time for high priced but small sized dishes people sneaking around and advertising things to sell staff (African souvenirs) whereas you just would like to relax and don’t be bothered by this very special event

We visited Areia Beach Bar and Areia Restaurant while we were in Lefkada. I can say that this is one of my favorite beach bars on the island. We payed 20 euro for two sunbeds and one umbrella. The sunbeds have matrices and they are very comfortable. If you're 3 people they can give you fluffy barbaron for the third person and its also very comfortable. They have breakfast menu that can be served at the beach, also cocktails, other food and drinks. My only complaint is about the beach staff, because they are slow. You wait 15-30 or more mins for a waiter to come and take your order and then 30-40 more until it arrives. The restaurant have amazing food and the portions are big.
