Libre — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Located on the end of the Kathisma beach/bay, a very kind and nice place. Not much crowded and with very good service. The staff is one of the friendliest I have encountered on the island. The prices are lower then the other places on Kathisma, but the quality is the same, even better. On the beach you fell really free to enjoy your day. We booked the third row for 20€ and got a bottle of water inclusive. But we were not limited to consume only products from the club. We had our own food and drinks and the stuff did not minded, which is rare. The beds comfy and big. For lunch/brunch we went to their restaurant. Nice atmosphere, a lot of space. The food was great, especially the burger.

One negative thing for the whole stay is the missing music on the beach, but it is not a big deal.

All in all a great experience to remember and the right choice for the visit of the Kathisma beach. If we get another chance as we are staying on Lefkada, it will surely be the same club.

We has a super day at this beach/pool bar. The beach it absolutely stunning, with clear blue sea. There were three of us and we paid 30 euro for the more comfortable sunloungers on the second row,, this included a large bottle of ice cold water. The loungers are extremely comfortable, well kept and clean. They are spaced out enough so that you have your own space. We had drinks during the day and lunch served on the beach. The guys that work on the beach work so hard in the heat and the service is great (the only thing that I think would be better is if there were food menus to take your time to look at, rather than just one). The pool is lovely, very clean and refreshing. The toilets and showers are also clean. Our day at Libre included car parking. A review of two halves! Firstly, and perhaps most importantly, the service (Costa and co!) is excellent and was so all day which given the volume of customers is quite impressive. Loungers are very comfortable and food was excellent. Unfortunately, as nice as the beach club is, the clientele was not pleasant. Probably the most chilled on the beach but way too many large families allowed to occupy just 2 beds which is just so off putting when you are a couple and next to a large, loud, brash family in every direction. The beach club is lovely - absolutely can command that families pay per bed as they’ll fill. No Greeks to be seen which is sad - could have been on holiday anywhere and families who are there are dominating the space and playing loud music or videos on...
