This is a new restaurant in Vasiliki. It is marketing itself as a higher end restaurant. This is a decent choice in the area as the atmosphere is very nice. The tables are right by the water and it's very relaxing. The issue is with the service. It was a very strange experience from start to finish. We had reservations and the host (make) in the white shirt was not very friendly. We ordered three starters and one entree between the two of us as we had a large late lunch earlier. The same host raised his eyebrow at us, apparently we had not ordered enough for his liking. He asked us if we wanted bread. I asked him if it was made in house, and he said yes. When we got the bread it was clearly not homemade in the restaurant. Then the waiters start delivering the dishes almost instantalously one by one. They served us the Greek salad and bread at the same time which was fine. Before we finished the salad, they served the shrimp saganaki. Before we even touched the shrimp saganaki, the entree already came out. It was as if they were not even looking to see how quickly we were finishing the dishes before they brought the next dish. It was just very strange, this has never happened at any other restaurant. Greece. So by the time we ate our entree it was already not the correct temperature. Then after brining out all the food way too quickly we were ignored for the rest of dinner until they came to give us the check. First restaurant where we did not ask for the check and they came to have us pay. (The restaurant was not even close to full either). Just strange
Food: The Greek salad was very good and above average. The fish dip that came with the bread was very tasty as well. Bread is not made in house as mentioned earlier. The fish fillet that we ordered was pretty tasteless and I've had much better at other restaurants in Greece. The shrimp saganaki was fresh and not frozen, which was great but it was not a traditional Greek shrimp saganaki. They use chives so I gave it the Asian fusion taste, so it really depends on what you're looking for
Final thoughts: decent food (except for the fish), poor service....

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Lamda during my visit to Lefkada, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I’ve had on the island. Everything—from the setting to the service and, of course, the food—was exceptional.
The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with a beautiful view of the marina and a charmingly restored stone building that gives the whole place a warm, inviting character. It strikes the perfect balance between casual dining and fine culinary experience.
Every dish we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The seafood dishes, in particular, were outstanding—cooked to perfection and bursting with taste. The lemon tart for dessert was the perfect finish: light, tangy, and simply delicious.
What made the evening even more special was the staff. Attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming, they made us feel right at home. You can really tell that everyone here cares deeply about the guest experience.
Lamda is more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of Greek hospitality and cuisine with a modern touch. I can’t wait to return, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know visiting Lefkada.

Read moreDo not expect fine dinning, good food yes but still far away from fine dinning. 6 staf members standing outside waiting for customers. But when seated it takes 10 minutes for them to take your drink order.(First wine bottle we ordered was not available....This already at the start of the season??) The menu & drink menu is printed on 4 separate white pieces of paper........ Not very "re-fined". Menu/price engineering wise a disaster, main courses (chicken/tagliatelle/hamburger) between €19 & €22, but then it jumps to €50/€55/€80 if you want a steak or fish or catch of the day.... Further more they never came to re-poor the wine at the table and the main course was brought out while the empty first course plates were still Infront of us..,.... Before calling yourself a fine dinning restaurant,, please make sure you have the basics right. Please take this as an advice from someone who has been around in this kind of businesses for more then 30...
