We stumbled into the taverna on our first night in Vasiliki and were so happy that we did! Service was super nice and friendly - we originally wanted a grilled octopus, unfortunately they were out of it so based on the recommendation we opted for fish - sea bream. It was absolutely amazing - beautiful grilled fish, little seasoning so the taste of the fish came through. As second dish we ordered the fried calamari and they were so delicious! Not fatty at all, nice taste, no gummy texture - what you expect and want! Included was a good portion of salad with the meal so after checking with waitress we decided not to order additional salad and it was more than enough. We got a separate plate of fries which were very nice. We also asked for a platter with olives as I was craving for them and we got a big platter of delicious fresh olives - a dream :) We wanted to go a second time but it was unfortunately too full. Really good sea food near the water in Vasiliki. Very big portions at a reasonable price, and the staff…..absolute service ninjas 🥷🏾 😂 super quick, efficient and very helpful (of course being helpful is a well know quality for a ninja). I do have to say that their operation is very slick and well organised, considering how many tables they have and that it’s always busy…well done guys. And if you come there and there is no free table, don’t get all upset and walk away, tell the staff you are waiting, get yourself a cold drink, sit under a beautiful tree near the restaurant and relax, the table will be there in no time and you will be seated.
