If there were a way to give zero stars, I would. This so-called café is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in anywhere. The owner is unbelievably rude, condescending, and acts like she’s doing you a favor just by letting you sit down. Instead of hospitality, you’re greeted with hostility.
Cleanliness is non-existent. Tables are sticky, cutlery looks like it hasn’t been washed properly, and the bathrooms? Absolutely disgraceful — the kind of place where you feel like you need to wash your hands after touching the soap dispenser.
The food matches the atmosphere: bland, greasy, and questionable in freshness. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust the kitchen hygiene for even the simplest coffee.
What really ruined it, though, is how mean the owner is. She snaps at customers, rolls her eyes at the simplest requests, and treats everyone like an inconvenience. I’ve never witnessed such a complete lack of respect or basic manners from someone in the service industry.
Save yourself the disappointment (and possible stomach ache). There are plenty of places that actually know the meaning of kindness, cleanliness, and good service . This is absolutely not...
Read moreVery disappointed. Had a nice experience with the husband owner the night before for wine. Went for breakfast the next day, and the wife (who was not there the night before) was very rude. Major attitude! Beware as they overcharged us: they did not give us an itemized paper receipt (as they are supposed to by law), and asked us repeatedly to pay cash. Because I did not have a lot of cash, the wife charged us a lot more because we wanted to pay via credit card. She told me to tap my card on the visa reader without showing me an amount… When I saw the very high amount , and questioned her about it, she lied and told me that the bills in Greece don’t come itemized: she had hand written and forged an amount which was gauging the customer. She yelled at us for asking. Felt sorry for her husband for who was in a very awkward situation. Do not recommend. Very expensive and bad service. Best to walk by first and/ or go at night when this miserable women...
Read moreOne of the most cozy and welcoming cafe/pub that makes the charm of Loutraki. The staff is really lovely and open minded. The food is amazing and most of the products come from their local farm! I’d recommend their cocktails (Paloma, Greek Mojito or the classic Spritz) or the selection of omelets that are amazing. It has become our to-go bar for a happy hour while our stay there.
Bonus: the cocktails are cheaper for take away! You can grab yours and watch the sunset...
