Little Piece of Heaven in Aegina – My Home from Home

Every time I return to Aegina from Athens where I live, there is only one place I choose to stay, the beautiful Oasis Hotel, home to the warmest welcome from Svetlana and the heart of it all: Restaurant-Café Morfonios Taverna.

From the moment you arrive, you are treated like family. Svetlana and the team simply can’t do enough to make you happy It truly is a home from home.

Set on the crystal-clear waters of the seafront, the taverna is a slice of paradise. The view is spectacular, with tables and chairs painted in that unmistakable, calming Greek blue, right on the water’s edge. It’s heavenly to sit there and just breathe it all in.

The food is home-cooked dishes prepared with real love and pride, using local ingredients and traditional recipes. Every bite reflects the heart of the island and the warmth of those who make it.

The rooms at Oasis Hotel are equally beautiful – fresh, clean, and thoughtfully styled with that same Greek blue theme that instantly soothes the soul. Everything is kept immaculate.

It was one of the greatest dishes we had in Greece! Greek salad and also dolma was way better than the other restaurants nearby. Sardin fish was also fresh and great.

Also they were super friendly and professional. It also has a great view to the sea. The restaurant is clean and quiet. It seems a family business and I think it is the secret of the delicious food as a lady was cooking by herself.
