We discovered Thalassa while looking for a good swimming spot, and it turned out to be the perfect find. The restaurant is perched right above the rocks with direct access to the sea via a small metal staircase – an amazing place to take a dip before or after a meal.We started with saganaki and kolokythokeftedes, both of which were excellent, and paired them with ice-cold draft beers that hit the spot on a hot day. Later we tried the imam baildi, which was simply delicious. Portions were generous, flavors authentic, and the prices very reasonable.Overall, this place combines a stunning seaside setting with tasty homemade food and great value for money. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Agia Marina!

We stopped by here for a late lunch while touring the Island on our bike. It was 3.30pm in the afternoon and the place next door had diners, so we decided to spread the love. Thank goodness, as it was the very best food we have had on Aegina. We are not seafood eaters and ordered Mousaka, Greek Salad and Imam Baildi ( baked eggplant with onions & tomatoes garlic & feta etc....slow cooked and melt in your mouth deliciousness. Everything is home cooked and fresh. If we weren't staying in the Aegina Port we would have returned tomorrow. Compliments to the chef!

One of the most beautiful locations on the island.. Overlooking the Agia Marina bay. The service is impeccable.. Incredibly friendly staff that gave us absolutely every thing we need and then more. The food is pretty good. We tried the sea food which was great.. And some Greek traditional food which was also very good. The price is a bit much but considering the quality.. It is understandable. If you are ever in the Agia marina area.. Make sure to stop by.

After several days on this beautiful island and having more than just a few places that we ate in for lunch and dinner we got to this beautiful restaurant and had the best food we ate in Greece in the past few trips that we had in our visits. The service was wonderful (we were in May I don't know how will it be in July and August when they will be packed but hey with a view like they have why rush to anywhere..). The Fried zucchini balls were amazing! Same was the Imam Baildi, their fishes were soft, tender and full of juiciness and flavor. The deserts were fabulous, try the Pistachio icecream and the Greek yogurt with local marmalade. We came back 3 days in a row since we have found it to be the best place to eat around. Give it a try you will...

We waited almost 2 hours to be served, but I could forgive that, since the place was really busy. After these 2 hours we were informed that there were no more fish or seafood left and we would get no main course. The manager did not predict that on a public holiday the place would be busy, but I could forgive even that. There is "grilled octopus" on the menu, but the octopus we got was boiled, with a disgusting jelly-like texture. We had no main course and even this one appetizer we got was inedible and we left it in our plate. Now, this is unforgivable. I am Greek and I know very well the difference between grilled and boiled octopus. We finally only had salad and cheese and left hungry. What a...
