Mario's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

I've been staying in Crete for a week and during my stay I visited Mario's Pizzeria twice. The pizza is simply amazing, big and full of ingredients. I was struggling to finish it all. And as I could barely move, the staff brought me a free dessert (which I couldn't refuse even tho I was full...there is always a spot in the stomach for a dessert). What made my stay even more pleasant was the lovely staff. I had a really nice talk with a blonde lady working there. Perfect atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food, you won't regret going here. Mario’s pizza stands out with its incredible dough — light, airy, and with that authentic Neapolitan texture that makes each bite memorable.

Baked in a traditional stone oven with a domed roof, the flavor and crispness are truly something special.

The pasta dishes are equally impressive, cooked just right and full of rich, balanced flavor. Fresh, well-prepared salads round out the menu nicely.

Got here a day ago and was craving a pizza, phoned 5 other places and they couldn’t deliver. Phoned Mario’s pizzaria and they said yeah we can deliver and 10/15 mins later they delivered. Delivery driver phoned to say she is 5 mins away and met us at the bottom of the driveway, very lovely kind women and was also giving us recommendations of what to do/where to go.
