Taverna Apothiki — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

It was very nice! I went there yesterday with my family and I ate delicious Greek food! The service was perfect, they were very friendly! Especially Emmanuel from Athens (sorry if I write your name wrong), it was a pleasure to meet you! We also forgot a sack, and a couple of hours later we came to get it and heard they had found it on the beach. We got it back easily, thanks again! The only thing that's a bit annoying is the hard wind, but I hope for you it will decrease in the coming days.

Disappointing We ordered a variety of meat, fish & vegetable dishes. The fish was well cooked but under seasoned, the Cretan sausage was not what we expected and definitely not tradition Cretan loukaniko in fact the only really good dish was the tzatiki. The service was inattentive & indifferent. Also as this place also manage the sunbeds (we paid €12) I would have expected some reduction or free sunbeds for taverna customers. Delicious food sitting in the shade of pine trees, beautiful view of the sea. We got small fried fish fresh of the day, stuffed fried zucchini flowers, stuffed mushrooms and many other plates, all fantastic. Then you can enjoy beach chairs and umbrella right in front of the tavern, on the beautiful Triopetra beach. Could not have hoped for a better last afternoon in this area.
