On our 2 nights visit to Alexandroupoli we came here for both of our dinners. Having enjoyed our first night at this restaurant, we decided to come back for our second night too! If you've been looking around in the reviews to find a dinner place in this area, I can say with confidence this is it :))
All the food items were absolutely delicious (we tried many dishes over 2 visits). The service is quite quick for everything besides their main fish dishes. And by the time you're done with your appetizers the fish is also served shortly after. Complimentary dessert (fruit or mix dessert platter) available.
On our first visit (Saturday night) we went at around 8.30-9 pm and only had to wait 5 mins for a table. Second day (Sunday night) we went around 8.45 pm and waited for 20 mins. We really didn't mind the wait because the food was genuinely worth it. I would recommend a reservation but they might be booked on certain times of the year.
Staff is generally really friendly and quick.
They have seats on both sides of the road. Unfortunately it doesn't have a sea view unlike the other restaurants in the area, but the food makes up for it. Plus, you can always take a walk around the seaside after dinner to help digest :)
First night we paid 120 euros and second night 150 euros for 4 people (and thats for eating VERY well).
My opinion is that most restraunts in this area serve similar food for roughly the same prices. But this place forms the difference through excellent taste profiles and just pure genuine good food.
I would say you can order anything and would be satisfied, but I highly recommend the following dishes: fried zucchini (sounds simple but its a MUST try), tomato shrimp pasta (so saucy and shrimp cooked to perfection), and their sea bass (so tender and flavorful).
I would say get a salad, few appetizers, few seafood dishes and 1 type of fish to share. Don't limit yourself to main dishes! Try as many things as you can because they're all delicious. Do keep in mind that some fish might not be available depending on the day.
Overall, I would say this was an amazing 2 nights long experience which pleasantly surprised me and left good memories (and some...

Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but our experience here was so unacceptable that I feel compelled to warn others. We arrived and waited patiently at the entrance, expecting someone-anyone-to greet us or at least acknowledge our presence. Instead, we were completely ignored. Several servers passed by without so much as a glance in our direction. When we finally tried to ask if there were any available tables, the response we received was borderline hostile-as if our question was an inconvenience rather than a basic part of their job. Even worse, three separate groups who arrived after us were seated before us, despite the fact that we had been waiting longer and were clearly visible to staff the entire time. The general attitude from the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. When we asked again, one of the servers snapped, “You’ll wait!”, with zero courtesy or apology. That was the final straw. After standing there for over 40 minutes, we decided to leave, and frankly, I’m glad we did. No restaurant, no matter how popular or well-rated, has the right to treat people this way. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored, disrespected, and spoken to...
