Kamára — Restaurant in Municipality of Amorgos

We booked a table for 2 in advance (3 days earlier). Once we arrived they sat us at a wrong table at the corner, at the very end of the tavern. After 5’ minutes they realised their mistake and they moved us to a front row table (in the new area of the tavern) where we could enjoy the sunset. We ordered 2 starters and 2 main dishes. They brought us literally 2 slices of bread!! The starters were fair. The main courses were a disappointment. The classic “Patatato” (8€) (dish of lamb and potatoes in the oven) was mostly potatoes and the meat was so few.. it was mostly the bone with some meat around it.. The other main dish “Kalogeros” (10€) was tasty, but as it was reheated it was still cold in the middle!!! We made a complaint to the waiter and they suggested to reheat the dish!!!! They said these things may happen as you reheat the dish..!!!! Not value for money just for the view and to watch the sunset.. if you go there maybe you prefer to eat something grilled...

Had a wonderful sunset dinner here. The views are amazing and there was a peaceful family atmosphere. The goat with lemon sauce was cooked perfectly and the greek salad was the best we had in Greece. The server was lovely and brought out complimentary deserts at the end. If your looking for a romantic dinner, this is the place to go. Best...

Δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω αν εμείς κάναμε κάτι λάθος με αυτό το μαγαζί ή αν απλά οι μαγαζάτορες μας έκαναν πλάκα. Πήγαμε νωρίς το απόγευμα, ήταν άδειο αλλά κάτσαμε. Διαθεσιμα μόνο τα μαγειρευτα, όχι της ωρας. Με το ζορι ήρθε μια κοπέλα να μας πάρει παραγγελία και να μας σερβίρει τα φαγητά, τα οποία άργησαν λες και το κατσίκι το κυνηγούσαν επι τόπου να το πιάσουν να μας το φερουν. Η δε μερίδα του περιβόητου «πατατατου» ήταν μισή φλιδα κρέας δίπλα στο κόκκαλο από το μπούτι συν 4-5 πατατες- ούτε για μωρο παιδί δεν έφτανε. Η δε τιμή του 12€. Το χοιρινό με δενδρολίβανο αδιαφορο αλλά τουλάχιστον είχε μέγεθος μερίδας. Κάθε φορά που χρειαζόμουν κάτι, έπρεπε να πάω μέχρι μέσα να ξεβολέψω την κοπελια και να της ζητήσω να έρθει μέχρι έξω να με εξυπηρετήσει. Πιο πολλά δρομολόγια έκανα εγώ παρά εκείνη. Α και προσοχη! Οι τιμές από το μενού που είναι αναρτημένο δεν ισχύουν, πλέον είναι στα 3,5-4€ πάνω σε όλα!! Το μόνο που αξίζει στο μαγαζί είναι η θέα αλλά σίγουρα από το ηλιοβασίλεμα και μετά γιατί νωρίτερα σε...
