We just hopped off the boat and wanted to grab something close by to eat as we were very hungry. One thing I will start to say is if you’re hungry, then make sure you’re ready to wait, as service here is slow. And when I say slow, it means really slow. It took 10 minutes to order drinks, then another 10 for it to come, which was actually a bottle of water! When we wanted to order, we had to wait for the waitress who has a tablet ( I think only one person); otherwise, we couldn't order, but eventually someone took our order, and she took it by memory, and repeated the order yet still made it wrong, so we were waiting for a dish that would never have come! We only found out this because we were chasing the main (which came after an hour). The tables who came after us got their food before us, despite having ordered first! We ordered: Greens (horta-boiled local vegetables) Greek salad Fries Fried cheese (never came) Spaghetti with capers, tomatoes, olive oil, and oregano. When the food came, it was great and it was tasty so compliments to the chef. Paying the bill: it was the waitress who took our order, and so I told her that she forgot to add my fried cheese to my order; her only response to me was "yes,” and that was it. I paid and just left; the service was pretty nonexistent here, and the waiter and waitress were all over the place, such a shame.

Its a shame restaurants like this exists.. When you have been to Greece many times and you love the Greek food to come to a place like this... First of all the girls who work here they have no empathy, are rude, and very quick to leave. Didnt ask if we want to drink anything... They have no idea of what they are doing. I asked what is this one salad (there said no ingredients on the menu) and she had no idea how to answer to me.. She said apple and lettuce... I order a Dakos salad, one skewer and 2 pita gyros. The Dakos salad comes soaked in water!! I have never been to any restaurant that soaked the bread like this, it was disgusting and I could not eat half of it.. The chicken skewer was also very bad, super dry and old and again I only finished half.. The fries were cold and not fresh at all, and we pointed this out to the waitress and she said they just made them and left.. This is probably the most tourist trap in Aegiali... I am still hungry and will go somewhere else now to have a salad. Great dissapointment and a bad end to my trip on Amorgos.

This place was absolutely amazing. We ate here several times while we were in Amorgos 3 out of 5 nights in fact. The food was delicious and everything we tried was exceptional. We had the grill for 2, the goat with lemon sauce, pork gyros and of course the Greek salad was fresh and delicious. The grill for 2 was a great way to try several of the grill favorites. It has a great view of the harbor right in the middle of the square. The owner, Kostas, remembered my birthday from a conversation a few days prior and brought out a dessert with a candle. They made me feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this place on a trip to Amorgos.
