Nestled right on the picturesque beachfront of Kalyves, Elena Taverna holds a special place in our hearts as one of our favorite neighborhood dining spots. It’s open now for the season! Our evening commenced with a classic Greek salad, a vibrant medley of fresh ingredients bursting with flavor, setting the stage for what was to come. For our main course, we savored the catch of the day - fried red mullet and grilled sea bass, each dish showcasing the impeccable freshness of the seafood and expert culinary craftsmanship. Cooked to perfection, every bite was a testament to the quality and care put into each dish.
As if the dining experience couldn't get any better, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert and raki, a gesture that epitomizes the genuine hospitality of Elena Taverna. With each sweet bite and sip, we couldn't help but feel embraced by the warmth and generosity of the staff.
Dining on the first night of the season added an extra layer of magic to our evening, as we watched and listened to the gentle waves lapping against the shore, creating a serene backdrop to our meal. Elena Taverna not only serves delicious food but also offers an unforgettable dining experience where every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure guests feel welcomed and cherished. A truly awesome dinner that will keep us coming...

We overheard other people in the taverna telling each other that Elena is their favourite place and they always eat there. I would have no hesitation in going back that...

Yet we, for whatever reason were purposely missed. I know that for a fact as both the owner and waiter looked at our empty table and ignored us. Might have just been a one off but it was quite off putting and pretty unwelcoming. Advice would be go to the other restaurants along the beach unless on a...
