Food was excellent – honestly the best I’ve had not just in Ipsos, but in all of Corfu. I’m not going to lie, I’m a big man who loves to eat, and throughout my trip to Corfu I was mostly disappointed with the food. This place completely changed that.
I actually came here twice in one day – for lunch I had the swordfish, and in the evening I came back to try some traditional Greek dishes. The beef stifado was perfect – I’ve never tried anything like it before. I also ordered the pork schnitzel; I know it’s not a Greek dish, but the meat was so tasty and tender that it was one of the best schnitzels I’ve ever had. The gyro here was also much better than in other places around Ipsos.
Last but not least, the service and atmosphere were outstanding. Finally we found a place where the waiters are polite and welcoming. In most other spots in Ipsos, the staff seemed annoyed just because you came to spend money – but here, you really...
Read moreWe ordered meze with pita bread, pizza napolitana, penne four types of chesse and greek salad. For meze we got two ice cold sarma in grape leaves stuffed only with rice, two pieces of salami, tri pastries two with cheese and one with greenery, half cucumber, table spoon of tzatziki, and table spoon of some white spicy - general mark for meze two stars. Pizza napolitana was with onion, campsicum, a few mushrooms, not well melted cheese and thick dough- mark for pizza minus one star, and the worst one was penne which should be with four types of cheese but it is not like that in the reality. There was only one type of chesse parmesan which was grated on top and penne were stirred in some type of sour cream. Bright spot in this dark dinner was greek salad, as we know you can't make mistake with vegetables. General mark for this terrible dinner one star. If you can avoid this restaurant if you want to...
Read moreI don't usually give bad rating. But this not worth 0 ☆Worse food we had in Greece. Been to Greece 4 times, many islands but 1st in Corfu. Been here for 3 weeks. Tasteless, unappealing everything: Saganaki like rubber, nasty smelly old shirmp coctail (not prawn as in the menu), soggy oily & chewy Calamary, nasty Penne Bolognaise, 2 slices of garlic bread was not even worth to call it so, even the Greek Salad was no oil no taste, bad quality Feta. My son said, his school cafeteria had better (you know how nasty school food is). So, if you think 12€ is good deal, get a Gyros at Leonidas worth more than this place....
