Unassuming from the main road but upon entering the outdoor terrace area you will find a cozy place to enjoy an amazing meal. If you love seafood this is a great spot. For starters we had beet salad and eggplant with tomato and cheese. This was so delicious. We had grilled octopus, sardines and steamed mussels. Portions were perfect for sharing. The octopus was tender not chewy, sardines were my favourite and the mussels were delicious, the broth was so good I wanted to drink it like a soup. The service was excellent and the owner was warm and friendly. He even offered us complimentary dessert. Rustic decor inside but the terrace was where you’d want to sit, under a canopy of greenery and lights. We will be returning to try other items on the menu. Of course more seafood!

This place was such a lucky find! We loved it so much that we went back a second time. The food is absolutely top-notch — everything we tried was mouthwatering and simply delicious. The vibe is that of a truly authentic Greek taverna, warm and inviting. A tip: make sure to book in advance (you can just call directly), as the place is always full but the staff are very responsive. And here’s a truly authentic Greek hack: start your meal with a shot of tsipouro, then go for the house wine — you won’t regret it. Highly recommended!

Great little family-run tavern that offers a range of dishes at affordable prices. Service was a slow, likely due to the family-run nature, but the portions were generous and food was made with love. Stewed lamb was excellent and falling off the bone but the cuttlefish leaned on overdone. High recommend making a reservation - we came around 1930 and managed to get a table that was reserved for a later time, but watched many be told that they were fully booked. Bill came to €40 for two courses each, no alcohol.

I recently visited Kostas with high hopes, fueled by the numerous glowing reviews I had read beforehand. Unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag, primarily due to the service, which fell below my expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the service was disappointing. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming, providing no greeting or friendly interaction. It felt awkward right from the start. When our food was served, the waiters simply placed the plates on the table without any attempt to clarify what was for whom. There was no explanation or engagement, just a quick drop-off and departure, which made the whole experience feel impersonal and uncomfortable.

The service issues continued when we received the check. Surprisingly, the staff appeared to be confused about what we had ordered, which further diminished our confidence in their attentiveness and professionalism.

On the positive side, the food at Kostas was undeniably good. The zucchini balls and cheese eggplants were the standout dishes—probably the best I've ever had. However, the steak, while cooked well, was served without any sauce, which seemed odd and somewhat incomplete for a dish of that nature. Additionally, the staff didn’t even ask how we preferred our steak cooked, which is a basic step for any restaurant serving steak and left us unsure of what to expect when the dish arrived.

In summary, while the food at Kostas has the potential to impress, the overall experience was marred by...

Ok, so this is the deal about this place. The food is excellent, it's like home made, very tasty. However, the service is veeeery slow. There were only 3 tables before us, and we received our food 70 minutes after we ordered!!! This is family-run business, and they prepare food probably the same way they do it at home, which is extremely slow. Also, every night most tables are reserved, so the best is to come before 8:30pm.

The food is very good but having a restaurant is not just about good food, it is about the full experience, and service is a...
