Incredibly disappointing experience. Broken glass and napkins on the floor and dirty tables that weren’t cleaned in the hour that we were there despite being one of only 2 occupied tables (they weren’t busy and had plenty of time to clean up). Badly cooked swordfish and chicken souvlaki that took an age to arrive. When we complained about the food the owner came storming out and confronted us whilst screaming ‘pay the bill’. There was no attempt to understand what the issue was from our side but instead there was an incredibly defensive and rude tone from the owner and the waitress. The food was honestly the worst i have had in a extremely long time, they put way to much oil on the tuna and when my sister asked for medium rare on said tuna, it was just extremely overcooked. My chicken souvlaki was way to salty to the point of nausea. I ordered a coke and it just didn’t come and I had to ask a second time. The wait for the food was way to long for how good it was, which has some logic behind it because that tuna must have been cooked for over an hour. Asteria is the worst place I've been too for food in corfu, I waited 40mins for a chicken souvlaki, only for the chicken to still be undercooked/ Raw.. So they cooked me a another one only for me to wait another 40mins, by this time the people I was with had finished their meals, which they were also disappointed with.. When i got the 2nd Chicken souvlaki it was the driest and most bland kebab i have ever eaten. Severely disappointed in this restaurant they might want to tell the chef how to season his food. I certainly wont ever visit this...
