Great restaurant. I went there with friends, not very crowded, but definitely cozy. It's a little tight but it's very casual and chill. Generally, the whole atmosphere is very relaxing and simple, yet extraordinary.

The food was surprisingly great. Walking into the store, I had high expectations for this place and if I'm being honest, Penny Lane exceeded them. At first glance, you might consider it as yet another burger restaurant, but it's so much more than that. The best proof of that is the food itself, of course. Because not only are the burgers cooked and handled with great care and quality, from taste to appearance, but also everything you order from the menu is guaranteed to look easy on the eye and appealing to your mouth.

The prices aren't the cheapest you can find, but everything you order is value for money. When you pay 9€ for a burger, you expect a fulfilling, tasty burger, suitable for all kinds of taste.

Even though my experience with the food and surroundings on the restaurant was honestly amazing, the only bad thing that happened to me was the behavior of the staff. I had to wait almost 30 minutes to have my order taken, and then another 30 minutes to have my food ready. When I wanted to get another bottle of water, I told a waiter, who then totally forgot about it and never gave it, so I had to ask again. I must admit, not all the staff was like that, there were some exceptions, but overall, my experience with the staff wasn't the best, which is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star review.

I was really looking forward to trying this place out, with 2500 reviews sitting at 4.4 stars, I was super excited!

When we arrived basically the whole restaurant was empty but seats reserved… they managed to squeeze us in…

We ordered 2 choc peanut butter iced chocolates with almond milk, they came out Luke warm with ice cubes, they didn’t resemble anything like an iced chocolate, I mean it wasn’t even sweet, and perhaps they even forgot the peanut butter…

My partner ordered the yoga breakfast…which was mediocre, it was quite tasteless except for oven roasted cherry tomatoes, they were excellent, thus the 2 stars…

I ordered the Eggs Benedict, the poached eggs were so underdone I ate egg white snot, I was super disappointed at the portion size, I literally left still hungry but was too scared to order anything else as the quality and execution from the kitchen was shocking…

Overall, service was poor, not once were we asked if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else, and definitely more than a little overpriced at 29€ for a disappointing brunch

I would like to start by sharing that everyone was very polite and we felt very welcomed. I have to say that I had very high expectations for this place, from reviews I have received from friends. Decoration is nice and so was the music. However, when it came to food, I can’t say I loved it. The Arancini were cooked well but unfortunately did not have any taste. The sauces of cheese and red pepper though that came with them, were very tasty. We took the chicken meatballs, which were nice themselves, but they are served with guacamole which had too much lime and it covered all the other flavours of the dish. The burger came with a generous portion of fries, which were very nice. The burger thought was very average and had too strong smell of meet. Maybe that is something that has to do with my taste/flavours , but I really think that some spices would make the meet way more tasty. Overall the restaurant has potential, but I think there is still work that needs to be done to improve...
