FAROS10 — Restaurant in Municipality of Chalkida

Faros is fast becoming our favourite place in Chalcis for the quality of food (both in the restaurant that we had eaten previously and at the cafe/beach area), location, views, convenience and service. Regarding service, we have been served by Maria K (sorry didn't catch the surname other than it starts with a "K"), on the 3 occasions that we had visited in the last 2 days (that's how much we like it there!); Maria K is an excellent waitress/hostess and a good ambassador for Faros10. Always service with a smile, efficient and even compassionate when one of the children in our group started crying when she offered to pick her up and calm her down. Πολύ ωραίος χώρος για ποτό και για φαγητό, αλλά μας χάλασε τη βραδιά ο υπεύθυνος κρατήσεων.. είχαμε κάνει κράτηση για τραπέζι και καθοδόν προς το μαγαζί μας ενημέρωσαν τα δύο άτομα που περιμέναμε πως κάτι συνέβη και δεν θα έρθουν. Ενημερώσαμε αμέσως το μαγαζί μόλις φτάσαμε, για να μας βάλουν σε μικρότερο τραπέζι εάν θέλουν, όπως και έγινε. Αφού παραγγείλαμε, ήρθε ο υπεύθυνος με ένα αυστηρό ύφος να μας επιπλήξει και να μας παρακαλέσει την επόμενη φορά να ενημερώσουμε νωρίτερα, εάν προκύψει αλλαγή στην κράτηση... Λες και είμαστε παιδάκια. Δεν έσκασε ούτε ένα χαμόγελο τουλάχιστον... γιατί να με χαλάσεις έτσι, για ένα ποτό βγήκα, πρέπει να ανέχομαι τα ξινισμένα μουτράκια του? Μάλιστα όταν φτάσαμε, το μαγαζί ήταν σχετικά άδειο και παρόλαυτα τους ενημερώσαμε, για να εξυπηρετηθούν. Και πάλι ήρθε να μας "μαλώσει". Προφανώς είναι τακτική του μαγαζιού και θέλουν συγκεκριμένο πελατολόγιο, όπως κάθε ανάλογο μαγαζί στην...

You don't expect such an excellent food ! In a cold windy night in a dark areas of the city . It is definitely much nicer at summer time since you can sit outside ... But in winter inside is the only way . The food was excellent very well prepared with care ! Kudos to...
