Walked in and the live music was way, way too loud for the small number of people there. The first waiter I mentioned this to was completely normal about it and asked his boss, who proceeded to come over and tell me in a not very nice way that live music was the reason why people were there (I didn't say there was a problem with live music, but the volume of it...believe it or not live music doesn't have to be so loud as to give you hearing damage).
The boss guy with tattoos was very aggressive towards me with his body language and made me feel like he was going to take me outside and beat me up for even having mentioned the volume! I was shocked. His reaction was just way over the top (he had so many other options...the regulars like it that way, they have no control over it, etc.). Btw, the live singer was actually really good!
I would've left, but it was late and I was afraid other places might be closed, so I ordered a burger. I asked for no onion/lettuce/tomato which of course was left on, but more importantly, this burger had zero flavor...no seasoning at all, so definitely throw some salt and pepper on it. It was also tiny. There's no way it would hold a candle to any burger in the US, so not sure what those reviews are talking about. The bun, potato wedges and ice cream were good though, other than the ice chips in the ice cream, but the whole thing wasn't any cheaper than it would've been...
Read moreVery Disappointed, we could not wait to visit Legends again as our first experience was fantastic. Raved about this place back home, the selection of world beers/drinks and the passion for prime good quality beef.
Where to start……
Music too loud, I love rock music but listening to Bon Jovi screaming his head off as I’m scanning the QR code on the table because there is a lack of paper to make a real menu.
Waitress corrected me on how to say Erdinger - I was drinking Erdinger when she would have been in nappies. It not the most complex of words. But apparently there is a Greek/American way to pronounce Erdinger
The Burger arrived, unfortunately cold. I had another bite just to be fully sure, but it was not hot enough to be eating a medium cooked burger. I informed the waitress, the burger was collected and no communication. My partner sat there looking at her Burger do I eat or wait, eventually a second burger arrived. The waitress informed me that I was wrong and she checked the burger and it was hot in a very passive aggressive manner.
While I was sat getting a headache from the 80’s America rock music - Legends sold more burgers as Take-Away that sat in customers.
Something to be said.
I know it’s an American Dinner but did not expect the American...
Read moreVery unique restaurant with amazing burgers and great service. We were looking for a good burger after a month of Spanish and Greek foods during our tour of Europe so we googled it and sure enough they delivered. Though it only has a 4.4 rating, i can assure you it should be 4.8 or higher. The massive sized burger was good, but the quality of beef combined with the caramelized onions and cheese made for one spectacular dance eith your taste buds. I had the wings, which were too small for my liking, but carried a great taste. The Potatoes were just the way I like them, golden brown and crispy on the outside. To finish it off we were given a small chocolate desert with a small shot of lemon raki. YUM! If you are in need of a great burger with a lot of quality and flavor, this is your place. The atmosphere is lots of American legends with old school design. I guarantee you will not be...
