Akti Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

We came here yesterday unexpectedly as the place we wanted to go was full because of the rain, we wanted to for dinner as it was our 5th Wedding anniversary. We chose it because it looked very nice from the outside and we were able to read the menu outside without anyone pestering us to come inside. The inside is lovely and modern, right next to the beach, the staff were all lovely and even thought I spoke greek because I learnt a few simple phrases haha and they do really appreciate when you try to speak their language. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the Greek buschetta to start with the most delicious basil pesto, local tomato and feta, I don't even like feta cheese but it was gorgeous, for main my husband had the slow cooked beef stifado with baby onions in the most delicious sauce which I was very jealous about (I ate most of it 😂) and I had the lamb shank, the lamb was cooked to perfection, the only thing I would say is that it needed more onion, garlic and rosemary but other than that it was lovely (I'm just fussy and love a big sprig of rosemary with lamb 😅). What we thought was lovely is that when we asked for the bill they brought out a complementary platter of local fruit and a little decanter of watermelon vodka cocktail to have before we left, a lovely touch with no extra charge! This is the type of restaurant where you eat and go straight to heaven. The chef takes pride in his cooking, the flavours of every single item on the menu are divine. After trying out so many restaurants on the street during our 3 weeks holiday - we found the one and only. The food is not only delicious and fresh, but it’s presented so beautifully. Everyone who worked there and served us were welcoming, kind, polite and genuine. They were so honest that when we paid they carefully returned our change and didn’t run off unlike other restaurants who try and con the tourists.

The deco is so clean and well presented with plenty of light. The atmosphere is so calm. The prices of food are reasonable and satisfactory. There’s no other restaurant like this one -...

What a delightful experience! The kitchen was truly excellent – everything we tasted was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Every dish was fresh, refined, and clearly made with care.

What stood out even more was that the quality was just as high at the table as it was on the beach. Whether you’re dining inside or enjoying a meal with a sea view, the service and flavors remain top-notch. That’s something you don’t find often!

A place we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food, no matter where they sit!
