elia Food & Drinks Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

Three days ago I was going to give it 5 stars since the owner was so nice and food tasted good 2 nights in a row, but yesterday we went there for breakfast and was greatly disappointed. The egg omelets came out greasy and overdone, crepes came out cold and so hard! When told the waitress that crepes are cold , she stated :” oh ? Sorry that they are cold. “ , and did absolutely nothing. Our drinks were not ready until we were done eating. Walking past we saw how lovely and peaceful the pool looked out the back.

As we were thirsty we stopped for a beer and drank it by the sun loungers, it was so lovely here we stayed all day and had lunch. Just a quick snack the first day, toasted sandwich and chips.

The next day we came back and had an even better lunch, more beer and a swim.

They have an extensive menu starting with breakfast beans on toast if you're missing England, toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes, traditional Greek dishes, pages and pages of food something for everyone.

If we come back to Malia we will stay in the adjoining hotel.

We absolutely love this place. During our stay in Malia/Stalis we ended up having dinner here every evening (which is not a common thing for us to do). And I can only say that it genuinely deserves 5 out of 5 stars! The food, the atmosphere and the staff members were just wonderful. We tried several typical dishes here, such as mousaka, souvlaki and pita gyros. All very tasty. Definitely go here if you go...
