Amazing pizza! Freshly made pizza dough and cooked in a proper pizza oven, well worth a visit if you love pizza. Excellent friendly service. When ordering a pizza each the waiter warned us they were large, he wasn't kidding! We had a few slices left over and he kindly boxed them up for us to take home. We had the house special (without mushrooms) and the Mexicana (with added feta cheese). Both pizzas where delicious, plenty of topping and perfectly cooked. See picture for size compared to knife and fork! For drinks we both had a frappe with ice cream, very tasty! We stopped here after visiting the cretaquarium nearby. Absolutely superb! We first discovered Paximadi by accident while visiting Gournes beach, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. After our first meal, we simply had to return several times to enjoy more of the amazing food. The fresh fish and meat are prepared to perfection, always full of flavor and cooked with real care. Every dish is beautifully complemented by a wonderful selection of traditional Greek appetizers that truly capture the essence of local cuisine.

Very nice and traditional Greek place. Music was Greek which added to a Greek vibe. We came for dinner and it was really nice. Pork in mushroom and wine sauce was beautiful. Staff was attentive and friendly. Reason why I have to give 4 stars is because of little option for drinks. Menu had no cocktails and the bathrooms could be maintained a little better. Missing toilet seat in one toilet. Other taverns in the area offer great cocktail options. Unless there was a separate coctail menu and we were just not offered one.
