We were just going to get a drink after visiting the Roza gorge viewing platform (reccomend). Next door was really busy, it was a Sunday afternoon and locals were eating en masse, so came here instead. The chap on the next table said it was the best wood fire cooking in the area so forced ourselves to have some garlic bread, oven feta, stuffed peppers and Pork and potatoes for my son. Let me tell you a secret. The two tavernas in Kera, Nikis and Elias, are both superb. You literally cannot go wrong with either. They both have unreal views of the mountains from the back of the taverna, they both excel at roasting lamb and pork in wood burning brick ovens, and they both have cheerful attentive staff that really make each meal flow seamlessly like a good book.
