We recently dined at Tavern Niki, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the delicious food, everything about our visit was superb.
We started our meal with taztiki and stuffed pumpkin flowers, both of which were delightful. The taztiki was fresh and creamy, perfectly complemented by the flavors of the stuffed pumpkin flowers, which were a unique and delicious treat.
For the main course, we enjoyed roast lamb and moussaka. The roast lamb was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the moussaka was rich and comforting, with layers of perfectly seasoned ingredients. Every dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail, making our dining experience truly memorable.
The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment, with its cozy and inviting decor. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing and...

The food is awesome, but as everywhere in Crete the portions are big so prepare to just sit here and eat for a while and enjoy the view (I recommend trying out the potato ommelette but again big portion and quite heavy on the stomach). We've talked to the owner for a bit and told us the restaurant has been in the family since the start of the 20th century. Very nice people and since we couldn't finish, we also got offered to take the leftovers to go. This is a most to visit when you are...
