Mataroa Pizzeria Italiana — Restaurant in Municipality of Corinth

My friends tried 5 times to reserve a table here over the summer, with no success. Yesterday, though, they were able to, and we tagged along. Offering a range of pizzas, most of which have meat, there are also 4 vegetarian options, the usual margherita, one with buffalo mozzarella, a 4-cheeses option, and a pesto one - which I chose and which I thought to be a little too salty. As starters, there are 3 salad options. The wine list is the only Greek component, and has about 20 to choose among. There are also a few beers and soft drinks on the menu. After a week of Greek food and bad tourist quantity lunch at a restaurant nearby, my taste buds needed a change of taste.

Found this restaurant for dinner, which is located in the corner with good ratings. You might think that pizza in Greece?? Oh YES, you will be surprised. Both me and my husband were amazed and glad we ended up having some decent food at this area.

We ordered 2 salads and 1 pizza to share. The salads were good, but the pizza was exceptional. The pizza dough was soft and bubbly inside. Normally my husband would not eat the crust, he ate them all this time.

We live in south Germany and we often go to Italy for weekend trips so we know our pizza. Pizza at this pizzeria is definitely comparable to the good...

The restaurant, in general is a professionally run business, from what I gathered, with staff working hard to keep customers happy. Prices are not expensive for the area and restaurant quality. It has a small menu, with generally, good quality ingredients. We ordered two pizza's and a salad. Unfortunately, both of our pizzas base's were burnt underneath, leaving a bitter taste in every bite. There's not a lot of toppings on these pizzas, so in some places it hasd actually burnt a hole in the surface. We didn't bother complaining as the kids ate it with no complaints.
