If you want to be an excellent Resturaunt here are some tips: -guests don't like to hear arguing in back of kitchen -burgers shouldn't be cooked well done or you should ask the customer how they would like cooked (medium rare, medium, well) -coffee/capacino should come with a spoon, napkin, and sugar on the side -you should bring a physical check to the table or have a digital itemized receipt showing the charges because you may up charge people -if you are a contemporary place, who caters toward tourists, including food allergies on the menu would be helpful (gluten free, vegetarian) -when someone asks for a check when they are on the way to the bathroom, it means bring the check out and put on the table or meet them at the table as they are coming back.
