Let's give a tip first! Don't be confused because there are two restaurants named by similar name. The way to be sure that you are in this place is to ask for "Giorgos" or his wife "Elisabeth", and that you are not at the hotel's restaurant.

It was a great pleasure that we met that place by accident. The food was delicious but the most important was that we had the chance to eat fresh fish, trout. The salad was fresh and we surely recommend the house salad. The personal was extremely friendly and also gave us some tips for places to visit nearby. Η εμπειρία μας στο εστιατόριο ήταν κατακριτέα σε πολλά επίπεδα.

Αν και είχαμε κάνει κράτηση, φαίνεται πως αυτό δεν είχε καμία σημασία για το προσωπικό, καθώς δεν τη βρήκαν. Όταν επιχειρήσαμε να καθίσουμε με το μωρό μας, ανακαλύψαμε ότι υπήρχε παιδικό κάθισμα αλλά χωρίς τραπεζάκι. Άρα ουσιαστικά δεν μπορούσαμε να το βάλουμε εκεί. Καλά για αλαξιερα ούτε λόγος.

Το πιο απαράδεκτο, ωστόσο, ήταν η προσφορά δύο χοιρινών μπριζολών που ήταν ακόμα ωμές, με αίμα. Αντί να λυθεί η κατάσταση μετά την επισήμανσή μας, η αντίδραση του καταστήματος ήταν ακόμα πιο απαράδεκτη. Αντί να την αντικαταστήσουν, μας ανέφεραν ότι θα την βαλουν να την ξαναψησουν. Our experience at the restaurant was condemnable on several levels. Despite having made a reservation, it seems that it meant nothing to the staff as they couldn't find it. When we attempted to sit with our baby, we discovered that there was a child seat but without a table, rendering it essentially useless. Not to mention, there was no changing table in sight.

However, the most unacceptable part was the offering of two pork chops that were still raw, with blood. Instead of resolving the situation after our complaint, the restaurant's response was even more unacceptable. Rather than replacing it, they informed us they would reheat it. The pinnacle of it all was that they managed to bring it back with blood again! This is unacceptable and indicative of the restaurant's overall disregard for the quality of service provided. But at Michelin-starred prices.

Overall this tavern was good, the food was tasty and the people friendly. We frequent Zaros Lake often and this was the only tavern we hadn’t been to. Unfortunately, when we visited during a winter weekend they were greatly understaffed yet they continued to accept customers even though the ones already there were not served properly. There is no indoor seating but there are plenty of heaters which they offered to turn on but never did despite us asking them to after a while because the waiters couldn’t cope with the work load.
